Zephyr Prime - Turbulence Tank

This build is focused around using Zephyr's 3-Turbulence to become virtually immune to projectile weapons and using her 1-Tail Wind's channeled effect to hover off the ground and gain damage reduction as a result.

One downside to this is that with negative power strength, we only get a 16% movement speed increase with [Jet Stream], meaning you'l want Amalgam Serration on whatever primary you use to help keep your speed up.

Quick Analysis

Mods

  • Overextend : gives us enough safety that nearly every explosion in the game won't hit us, and ability strength isn't a priority in this build.
  • Fleeting Expertise + Boreal's Hatred: easy way to reach 75% ability efficiency, curving our energy demand way down.
  • Narrow Minded + Primed Continuity: Get duration up high to avoid having to recast Turbulence repeatedly, saving a lot of energy.
  • Constitution: its main draw is the knockdown recovery speed, as otherwise we lose our tankiness by being on the ground.
  • [Jet Stream]: gives a nice movement speed boost, unfortunately hurt by low ability strength. This plus Amalgam Serration is important to keep your speed up while hovering though.
  • Energy Conversion: Gives ability strength to offset Overextend and boost Jet Stream back up to almost full power.

Arcanes

  • Arcane Energize: This plus Dispensary can quickly refill your energy in a handful of seconds, usually topping you back to full in 8 seconds if this procs on one of the first two energy drops.
  • Arcane Phantasm: this + Jet Stream + Amalgam Serration should help you keep up with your squad.

Subsumed Ability

  • Dispensary: probably the best option given how energy hungry you are. Also offers some spot healing if something gets through all your defenses.
  • Spellbind: the ability to become immune to status ailments does fully convert your into a tank. Highly reccommended but its hard to pick over dispensary without [Primed Flow] in this build.

Recommended Loadout

Primary: [Amalgam Serration]
Secondary:
Melee (option 1): Vastilok - Eidolon Hunter
Melee (option 2): [Orthos Prime] with [Boreal's Contempt] (extra damage resistance)

[Vastilok] is a ranged melee weapon that relies on heavy attacks. This means that it won't accidentally pull you out of the sky and can auto block, triggering Arcane Phantasm.
