Evo2: do not pick munitions grit, as a 53% damage increase in reality is only a 26.5% increase to directs and explosion seperately, not 53% to both, which would be practically unnoticeable if it weren’t for the +20% multishot which only hurts this perk more. Do not choose this

Evo3: preference leaning towards accuracy

Evo4: do not pick prelude of might, as post nerf it no longer ignores cc value so munitions cannot work with the additional shit quality of dealing nearly twice less dps than the crit chance perk, which you should choose instead.

To dive a little deeper, prelude of might is fatally flawed as it is doesn't even function by design. At base the incarnon form has a 30% crit chance, however, prelude calculates crit chance after it has hit the target, that means puncture at 5 procs raises our crit chance to 55% which disables this perk entirely as if it could get any WORSE than the CATASTROPHE that was the second evo tree, prelude of might has managed to exceed in lowering my non existent expectations.

But wait, it gets WORSE, lets look at what prelude affects when it actually DOES work, assuming that puncture allows it.

Base incarnon has a crit multi of 6.6x tier 1, 12.2x tier 2 with vital sense.

Prelude with crit delay and vital sense, we have a base 30-50% cc with a 13.2x tier 1 multi

Critical parallel with crit delay and [Vital Sense], we have a 144% cc for a guaranteed 7.04x tier 1 multi and 44% chance to hit a 13.08x tier 2 multi

This means we have a 44% chance of doing basically the same amount of damage as prelude, while also doing 7.04x MORE damage for HALF OF THE REMAINING TIME.

With crit parallel, [Vigilante Supplies] also upgrades our crit over twice as often on average at about 1.6 upgrades per second per enemy compared to 0.79 upgrades per second per enemy, and can also upgrade our orange crits.
