combo level doesn't increase contagion projectile damage before 30m and only does +25% per combo level melee dmg (additive) after 30m so don't run corrupt charge/roll for initial combo riven
BUG: damage gets increased after the projectile travels 30m but conditional modifiers requiring it to be heavy attacks doesn't proc if your heavy attack animation finishes. this means the base damage depends on whether you used light/heavy to create the projectile, and the conditional modifiers that depend on if you have a heavy attack animation in progress as the projectile lands. this could potentially mean your heavy attack will get less benefits from mods like sacrificial steel because the projectile travelled for too long. from my own testing i found the sweet spot is 30-45m, any longer and you risk the animation finishing too early. of course you can counteract this by using less windup mods since the time it takes for the projectile to spawn does not depend on windup/attack speed, but to me it won't feel as nice.

don't be a dumbass like me, there is a difference between Vargeet II Ruhang and Vargeet Ruhang II. make sure you use the right one.
- god rolls are crit dmg = crit chance > melee dmg
- ok rolls are impact > elemental mods (i like build flexibility)
- god negative rolls are -slide crit = -heavy attack eff = -status chance/duration = -combo chance/duration = -puncture > -slash etc
against lvl125 steel path corrupted heavy gunner eximus with a worse riven and no buffs
