[Xoris] doesn't loose combo counter! Traditional stat sticks (Jaw being my choice) may have more damage with the first few punches and if you're able to keep combo bonus up easily a traditional stat stick would likely outperform this. However, it's very hard to pass up the convenience of getting to 12x combo and not having to worry about loosing it. Once you're there you destroy every group of enemies upon first contact.
Been using it for a few days and feels great, believe I punched some poor sucker for 1.2 million damage without Petrify. In sim it takes 3-4 punches to kill a 175 bombard without using Petrify.
You may want to attack the first few bunches of enemies with the [Xoris] instead of Landslide, since [Xoris] is likely not to kill everything in one hit and can hit alot of things at once. So on the easy guys get your combo counter up quickly using [Xoris] then switch to Landslide once you hit 12x or sooner if your health is getting low.
Keep [Xoris] out so it'll help with deflecting incoming fire as well if need be. If you just do Primary/Landslide you'll take more damage.
[Gladiator Might] vs [Blood Rush] - Less critical chance build up, but additional critical damage. If you want [Blood Rush] you'll need to tack on another Forma or drop some ranks from another mod. If using Gladiator make sure you equip your companion with [Deconstructor] / Deconstruction Prime and put [Gladiator Rush] and [Gladiator Vice] on it. So you get 30% gladiator set bonus instead of just 10%.
You can swap something out for [Corrupt Charge] if you want combo building to have a jump start, but just make sure to not have BOTH [True Punishment] and [Corrupt Charge] fully upgraded, otherwise your combo duration goes to -100% and this permanently sticks you at 2x / 30 hit combo.
If you're doing a long run, you could swap [True Punishment] out and deal with the longer build up time to 12x combo. I prefer keeping it installed so regardless of the mission type I can build up combos very quickly.
