Saryn - A - General Use

[Saryn] General Use

Gameplay
This build is the standard go to for nearly any content. Well rounded stats for no one weakness but also no great strength. Using neutral duration to maintain spore, good strength and range to ramp up well and keep miasma effective. Regenerative Molt for regen and Hunter Adrenaline to provide the energy when you need it to Molt.

Aura - 100% preference, some options are Energy Siphon, Corrosive Projection (diminishing returns because of Spore but still helpful), or any weapon based aura.

Arcanes - 100% preference, some options are Energize, Guardian, or any damage increasing arcane. Grace shouldn't be used because Molt Augment.

Umbral - Absolutely worth for OTHER configs or just to upgrade Vitality on this build.

Tip - skip the Naramon Forma unless you're going to also use Config B.

Ability Breakdown

  1. Spore - Inflict Spores on target causing increasing damage the longer it persists.
    Destroy spores on target or kill target to spread to surrounding enemies.
    Half cost if cast at a new target while spore is still on another.
    Inflicts corrosive damage with 50% status chance reducing armor.
    Lasts until the target is dead.
    3 spores per enemy up to 12 total with recasts, does NOT stack with additional Saryns.
    Toxic Lash causes spores to burst on melee even without direct hits.
    Strength - Initial and growing damage. Reduces decay rate.
    Range - Spore spread on death/destruction.
    Duration - Reduces Decay rate.

  2. Molt - Leave a decoy behind.
    Removes all status effects and increases movement speed.
    Decoy is invulnerable for up to 3 seconds converting incoming damage to health after.
    Explodes on death/expiration/recast.
    Augmented to restore health over time.
    Strength - Health, Explosion Damage, Speed multipliers.
    Range - Explosion Radius.
    Duration - Natural Lifespan NOT invulnerability period. Speed buff.

  3. Toxic Lash - Toxin buff added to all weapons, doubled for melee.
    Instantly bursts spores without direct contact.
    100% Toxin status added.
    Strength - Damage added.
    Range - N/A
    Duration - Duration of buff.

  4. Miasma - AOE Viral damage to enemies.
    100% Viral status.
    4x damage if afflicted with spores.
    Stuns enemies for 6s.
    Strength - Damage.
    Range - Radius.
    Duration - Damage duration, NOT stun.
