Amp
1x7, 5x7, 7x7
1x7 being my overall favorite due to its ability to oneshot lvlcap thrax with a headshot without your operator staying vulnerable to damage for too long.
Secondary fire is typically either 4 or 7. Personal favorite being 7 (Propa) due to being able to Void Strike + Propa to kill a bunch of thrax at once if your squad is struggling to deal with their ghost forms at higher levels / lvlcap
5x7 lets you oneshot the exolizers (with Eternal Eradicate activated) after closing the rifts
Amp Arcanes
Eternal Eradicate + Eternal Onslaught / Virtuos Shadow / Virtuos Strike
1x7 5x7 would typically use Eternal Eradicate + Eternal Onslaught. If you don't see yourself proccing Eternal Onslaught enough, you can swap it with Virtuos Shadow.
7x7 would typically use Eternal Eradicate + Virtuos Strike. Virtuos Shadow is still an option.
Operator Arcanes
Magus Cloud + Magus Repair
Magus Cloud is used for closing rifts quickly by dashing through a lot of them at once.
Magus Repair is a flex slot and can be swapped with Emergence Savior
Focus School
Madurai
Fully maxed Madurai will give your operator:
- 30% Increased physical and operator damage
- 20s buff doubling your amp's critical damage on entering operator and +50% Warframe cast time when entering your Warframe
- Contamination wave (your 2) increasing your operator's dmg to enemies hit by +50% for 20s. You can also use this to deplete your energy for Eternal Onslaught or close exolizer rifts quickly
- 50% Energy efficiency on consecutive void dashes. Makes Magus Cloud even more enjoyable to use for closing rifts
- +40% Ability strength when switching to warframe after executing consecutive void dashes. This can increase Xata's Whisper by about 10%
- Increased amp energy and regeneration rate without having to unbind
- Void Strike. Consuming all your energy to deal 10% damage per 1% energy consumed. Lets you melt Void Angels before they put their orbs up and oneshot any thrax with either propa or primary fire. Generally, you wouldn't use this for every exolizer. It's used mostly as a boost when the rest of your squad is struggling to kill thraxes and are creating big groups for you to take care of
Not using Madurai will likely result in your damage falling off after enemy lvl3000 or so, unless you are using 1x7 or 5x7 with a good viral primer to quickly do 10 viral stacks on thraxes and killing them with your operator before the viral expires. 7x7 without Madurai is almost unusable around that level
You can swap out [Augur Message] for [Transient Fortitude] so you can use Arcane Energize or any other instead of relying on stacking Molt Augmented. Any +str after 144% is only for buffing [Xata]'s Whisper. All you need for armor strip with [Seeking Shuriken] is 144%.
Recommended auras: [Brief Respite], [Energy Siphon], [Growing Power], [Shotgun Scavenger] (if most of the squad uses Felarx)
You shouldn't need more than one [Brief Respite] for the whole squad. If using my full setup you'll get another 80% from the augur mods on the [Ash] and the Laetum
If you don't want to use an aura forma, you can just run with Naramon since it fits more usable auras than Zenurik or Madurai and you shouldn't need [Brief Respite] too badly.
If you own [Primed Sure Footed], use that in exilus slot. [Handspring] is better than regular [Sure Footed] due to its ability to let you get up and roll before you start taking damage (typically heat damage from eximus knocking you down). [Sure Footed] prevents you from getting knocked down 60% of the time, with the other 40% typically resulting in your death at such high enemy levels.
Archon shards
- +25% Cast Speed
- +50 Max Energy
- +50 Max Energy
- +50% Effectiveness on Energy Orbs
- +50% Effectiveness on Energy Orbs
If you aren't the host of the run, you may have to use multiple shurikens until a target is stripped. Energy may be an issue later on without the buffs from [Lohk] Surge (buff altars) so shards are mostly based around energy. You can add more cast speed or duration if you don't find yourself struggling with energy at all.
Keep in mind switching between operator and warframe will provide you with +50% cast speed for 20s with Madurai equipped
Gamemode Info
Typically you'd have two defenders and two attackers. Attackers claim the newly spawned exolizers and cover them until the defenders get in the room. When the room is fully claimed and the first defender has come in, move onto the next room, preferably before or as the next exolizer is spawning.
Killing enemies inside the yellow circle will not speed up the exolizers. Every exolizer will always take exactly 90sec to finish regardless of what you do.
It takes a thrax 10sec to reclaim an exolizer, meaning you can leave it when it's 1/9th or 1/8th away from finishing.
Playstyle
[Ash] is typically an attacker due to how easily it is for him to strip armor and kill thraxes.
Typical room clear would consist of:
- Entering the new room, activating Xata's whisper, recasting stealth if needed and switching to operator
- Dashing / Contamination waving through the newly spawned exolizer's rifts
- Shooting at the exolizer twice (raplak) to cleanse it and spawn the thrax
- Switch to warframe, armor strip with shuriken, shoot until the thrax is dead (Felarx: 1 headshot, 3-4 bodyshots at lvlcap; Laetum Incarnon: 4-8 shots at lvlcap)
- Switch to operator, stay invulnerable, Contamination wave atleast once for extra damage + arcane proc and multiple times if you want to deplete energy for +180% crit from the other arcane, headshot
- Switch to warframe, clear mobs with Cerata/Glaive until next exolizer spawns (usually 15-20sec after clearing this one or about same time as the next time you recast your stealth ability)
- Once you've cleansed the last exolizer for this room, wait for a defender to enter, move onto the next and repeat the steps
Use Glaive/Cerata spam for Acolytes.
Altar Buff Rotation (Lohk Surge)
- +200% Affinity
- Inflicting Bleed ...
- No energy consumed on skill cast and faster cast speed (will not be able to shieldgate during this one)
- +50% Fire rate and 100% ammo efficiency
- Red crits on secondary weapons (can mess with your Laetum but still useful to cycle through the buff rotation for energy)
- Picking HP Orbs increases HP until end of mission or dying fully (not getting revived)
- Picking Energy orbs increases Energy regen by 1/s until end of mission or dying fully (not getting revived)
There's 10min between each buff activation. A full round typically lasts ~7min.
There's 3 of these altars per map, with each having its own rotation. Try to keep the extra energy buffs in case someone couldn't get revived and had to lose theirs.
Tilesets
The probability of getting each tileset is as follows:
- 3-3-3: 15.909%
- 3-3-4: 38.182%
- 3-3-5: 9.545%
- 3-4-4: 19.091%
- 3-4-5: 12.727%
- 4-4-4: 1.818%
- 4-4-5: 2.727%
The gamemode is hard coded for 13 exolizer spawns, making the best tileset 4-4-5, each number showing how many exolizers are in each room. That ensures no "fake spawns" so no time wasted each round. Any other tileset adds +30sec wasted per round for each missing exo. Example: 3-3-3 will generate 9 spawns per round, while the game will try to spawn 13 exolizers. You'll get 4 fake spawns on average with each one meaning 30seconds without doing anything. If your whole squad is new to this gamemode you may struggle to keep up with the pace of 4-4-5
If your whole squad is in the same region, it would be good for each of you to go into an invite-only game and scout out the best tileset before inviting everyone to your lobby. Typically anything with 11+ spawns works great. That means anything like 3-4-4, 3-3-5 or better.
Tileset doesn't matter that much if you are doing runs under 120 exolizers or ~1h. The difference in arcanes is mostly noticable when doing 150+ exolizers.
Bugs
Most operator bugs can be fixed by letting your operator die. Most Warframe bugs can be fixed by walking into an operator-only area, such as green exolizer fields and the red Grineer bubble.
Extra info
- An average (maybe slightly above average) run should be about 0.5 arcanes per exolizer (especially after 150+ exo) or 0.7-0.8 arcanes per minute, meaning 100 arcane drops should take you about 2h and 200 exolizers.
Anything much lower than that means you don't have a mod drop booster in the squad or it's not working, anything a little lower might just be bad luck which should even out later on if it's a long run. - Only Thrax Centurion can retake an exolizer. If you're struggling with thraxes at some point, don't worry about the Thrax Legatus. He's just there to provide you with more arcanes.
- Using Parallax' Air Support can mark all nearby voidplumes and keys, letting you gather free standing every run.
- Killing Void Angel is basically a guaranteed arcane drop with a mod drop booster on SP. It also drops a voidplume pinion making sure your run gives you at least 5k standing. Do NOT kill Void Angel if you and your squad are not experienced in this gamemode. Try to kill it early or when you are about to extract. Use your VS to kill it before it puts up the protective orbs, speeding it up significantly.
- Grineer/Corpus rotation resets at the same time as all the open world bounties.
- Your Panzer may die without respawning if you are using [Tek Assault]. This will make you benefit way less from your Equilibrium because Synth mods won't work to let you pick up HP orbs while you're at full HP.
- Lvl 1000 is reached around 60 exolizers. Lv9999 is reached around 108. It will take different amount of time depending on the tileset you've got, but the exolizer number will always be the same.
- Thrax take increased damage in their ghost form when trying to consume an enemy (Corpus or Grineer). Use that to almost 100% oneshot them.
- When extracting, make sure you use your Simaris scans. At levelcap this would be 6k+ standing per scan. This will let you earn some extra plat by selling mods such as Energy Conversion every couple days.
- Setting your squad to Invite Only when scouting for a good tileset will let you extract quickly without having to reinvite everybody.
- Starting the mission with everyone being in their orbiter is the safest thing to do. Starting from zariman or a relay can sometimes not activate your mod drop booster.
- If the owner of the mod drop booster is dead without reviving themselves the mod drop booster will no longer apply. This can persist even after they revive themselves causing you to get significantly less drops. You might want to restart the mission if this happens.
- An arcane takes about 20 minutes to despawn or approx. 3 full rounds. Steel Essence takes about 5.
