This build is intended be extremely optimized and high investment and uses a lot of archon shards. It also demands enough investment into the Madurai or Zenurik focus schools to have either Sling Strength & Power Transfer or Inner Might & Hardened Wellspring fully levelled at minimum.
Our Primary of choice:
https://overframe.gg/build/485137/latron-prime/latron-prime-incarnon-primer/
This is so everything else kills much easier.
Our Secondary of choice:
https://overframe.gg/build/485199/lex-prime/lex-prime-incarnon-index-drone-remover/
This is for killing the flying drones that can be annoying for melee weapons to deal with.
Our Melee of choice:
https://overframe.gg/build/485201/quassus/quassus-index-annihilator/
This is for killing everything.
Madurai ideal archon shards:
3 Crimson (+30% Strength)
2 Amber (+100% Energy Orb Effect)
This is to optimize Strength and provide enough energy per pickup to cast Roar & Mesmer Skin despite Financial Stress. You'll need to use Power Transfer for the casting speed to do it in time though and having at least 1 Tauforged amber shard makes it a lot easier.
Zenurik ideal archon shards:
5 Crimson (+50% Strength)
This variant wants more strength shards since we can't get as much from our operator, but doesn't really need energy bonuses since we can consistently cast Roar for free thanks to our high duration lasting us the full cooldown of Inner Might and then some. All energy pickups are used solely to recast Mesmer Skin.
Here's a few answers to questions you may have regarding some strange choices with the build.
Why isn't [Blind Rage] on this build when it's on every other [Revenant] build ever made?
Because it causes inconsistency. Keeping Roar up at all times is only reasonable by abusing Inner Might and it makes it harder to ensure you can always use mesmer skin if you need to. You don't need that much strength and dropping it allows us to fit neat tech choices that make things very comfy, like the Amar mods.
Why the Amar Mods?
This build is set up to use a bleed Heavy Attack melee weapon for massive burst damage to 1-2 hit kill every enemy until far into Index. The Amar mods let us drop [Primed Reach] from the melee build by just teleporting us up to 20m towards a target for a sure hit with no cooldown. All that extra effective speed & range paired with the 60m [Enemy Radar] on the build (As of recently we have 30m base, so we can drop [Vigilante Pursuit] to get a little more Strength from [Power Drift]) ensures that you will always be on the move to your next targets and the time between choosing to [Hunt] a target and their death is as minimized as possible. This is especially useful when your teammates aren't particularly experienced.
What are all the ideal bleed heavy attack melee weapons to use with this build?
The ideal choices are [Quassus], [Hate], [Tenet Livia], [Dokrahm], [Reaper Prime], [Azothane], or [Pennant] listed in order of potential. [Tatsu Prime] is statistically inferior to [Tenet Livia], [Azothane], and [Pennant]. [Quassus] is notably better than every other choice thanks to the Amar set making it trivial to land all of its hits, which results in it applying 14 or 7 bleed procs with 2.5x or 5x multipliers for an effective 35x bleed instead of any other weapon just giving us one with 6x (scythes & the first heavy for 2H Nikanas) or 2 with 3x (2nd heavy for 2H [Nikana]). [Hate] steals 2nd place because its Incarnon form has obscenely high base crit chance, very high direct damage, and high riven disposition.
How do you keep your melee damage from falling off so bad? / Why the hell did you make the Incarnon [Latron] a primer?
Using a primer isn't a new concept by any means, but we use a very special one that solves that problem easy. Yes, we turn the god tier crowd destroyer that is the [Latron Prime] Incarnon into a primer. We do this for many reasons and I know I'm gonna need to explain myself here.
1.) This is the only primary capable of fully stripping armor and we need to be able to do that without help from our frame or melee slot.
2.) It has enough status to consistently strip all armor and leave the target with lots of Viral or Magnetic procs for our melee to secure the kill within just 2-3 shots.
3.) It's easier and less of a hassle to use this way. As enemy level scales up you'll need to fire more shots to kill them, which means more time spent recharging the damn thing instead of turning men into red paste. We can bypass a lot of that by using it as a primer so we just fire our 2-3 shots and then go for the kill with a heavy attack instead.
Why Molt [Vigor] instead of Molt Augmented?
Molt Augmented takes a long time to stack fully and only gives 15% more strength. If you die you lose it all, and everyone has moments here and there where they slip up and die. Molt [Vigor] grants more power at the start and stays consistent regardless of potential deaths. Use it if you want to, but slip up once and you'll probably understand exactly why I choose not to.
