Prisma... [Lenz]. This weird bow was my favorite weapon in the game as soon as it passes around. Despite the fantastic mechanics (which back then just killed you if you weren't careful - and that's the beauty of it :D When you fell into blast radius you had a full 1.3s to yell "OH FUCKKKKK!!!" :D Adrenaline was in those days mass-produced :) this bow has never been and probably never will be the best choice for longer trips.

I loved it, had a great time, used it everywhere, even where it didn't work... why? Because using it gave me a lot of fun, and the game itself was not as "demanding and difficult" as it is now.

Unfortunately... DE quickly forgot about this bow, releasing its nemesis... [Kuva Bramma].

The game world has moved on, enemies have become more resilient, tougher and deadlier, and poor [Lenz] has gone into the corner.

Did Prisma save my once favorite bow? NO. Not exactly. And it's not that it's still unsuitable for the current content... it is... but only in the form of a toy, trivia, because after the changes introduced by DE, AoE weapons are mostly just toys.
