Sun Wukong, The Monkey King [4-Forma All Purpose Build]

-EDIT 2/26/2020-
I have added 2 additional forma and tweaked the mod config of the build as DE has since nerfed [Wukong]'s Primal [Fury] and done an attempt at nerfing Cloudwalker. I replaced ([Mobilize]) with ([Primed Sure Footed]) and ([Primal Rage]) with ([Rush]). If you do not own ([Primed Sure Footed]) yet, it essentially becomes a preference slot. I would recommend keeping ([Mobilize]) or switching to ([Handspring]).

[Wukong]'s rework gave him damage output (Primal [Fury]) and speed on top of the only real quality he had before, survivability. The nerfs have indirectly, but heavily, targeted his damage output (of exalted weapon [Iron Staff]) with Melee 3.0 phase introductions and directly targeted his Cloudwalker's movement speed. These nerfs essentially revert [Wukong] to the one quality he had before, survivability. However, his reworked survivability is not on the level of what he was capable of before the rework and is most certainly bested by other unkillable frames like [Inaros], [Nezha], [Rhino], [Nidus], etc.

The Cloudwalker change, however, was seemingly not implemented properly and you can still speed yourself up by pressing crouch right before entering Cloudwalker and having it held while the ability is active. You can activate it while in Cloudwalker, however the vector of movement will not be aligned with the direction your crosshair is pointed at, resulting in an awkward Cloudwalker travel experience. However, it is not known if DE will remove this trick to completely cement the Cloudwalker nerf.

-Thoughts on Wukong Changes So Far-
The [Iron Staff] nerfs personally didn't affect the way I could play too much, however the nerf was relatively undeserved. Exalted melee weapons require a lot of investment on top of the Warframe and it costs energy to use unlike melee weapons (which are generally much easier to mod and cost nothing). Exalted weapons should be stronger than their standard counterparts. Ultimately, I feel this change in particular was almost entirely an indirect result of the melee changes and will likely be addressed in the future. For reference, [Baruuk]'s abilities, in general, were very good with only his exalted melee being pretty underwhelming. However, the recent augment for his exalted melee brought it to a position beyond what I even expected.

The Cloudwalker attempted nerf is undeniably undeserved as it is a utility that serves only the player using it and doesn't affect others' experience with the game.

Guide
This is the ultimate general-purpose Wukong Prime build. It accomplishes this by being well-rounded in the different aspects it supports:

  • High EHP Tank (Umbral Vitality + Adaptation + Defy Ability)

  • Maneuverability w/ High Cloud Walker Duration (Primed Continuity + Narrow Minded) + Health / Meter (Umbral Intensify)

  • High Efficiency --> Can easily maintain Primal [Fury] and constantly have Cloud Walker available with Zenurik school's Energizing Dash

Iron Staff Build P.S. Need to update picture for Iron Staff build tweaks

Notes

  • Celestial Twin --> Ability key tap on enemy target causes twin to deal bonus damage; Ability key hold dismisses the twin. Pairs very well with Ignis/[Ignis Wraith] as primary. Clone can proc Arcane Fury and Arcane Strike through weapon use. Range stat is actually useful for this ability if using (Celestial Stomp).

  • Cloud Walker --> (WUKONG'S MOST USEFUL ABILITY) Cleanses status effects. Affected by duration, range and strength, although range is a throw-away stat. Also affected by sprint speed --> Recommend (Amalgam Serration) on primary weapon --> To get use of additional speed from sprint in Cloud Walker, you must hold sprint (crouch) before or as you are entering Cloud Walker (and hold it for remaining duration).

  • Defy --> Affected by all stats (Dur, Eff, Range, Str) Range is a throw-away stat in this build. Armor gain caps at 1500 (giving you 1775 armor total ~86% damage reduction)

  • Primal Fury --> Is an Exalted Weapon, therefore energy cost is affected by both Duration and Efficiency. Affected by (Primal Rage) augment mod which caps at 150% critical chance (10 enemies killed @ 100% Power Strength).

  • Does Not warrant stacking additional armor due to severe diminishing returns of armor. This makes Umbral Fiber not worth using. Damage Reduction Formula --> Total Armor / (Total Armor + 300)

  • You can crouch during Cloud Walker in order to pass through smaller gaps.

  • Use 3 gladiator mods on Deconstructor/Prime for Helios/Prime for similar (Blood Rush) stacking effect

  • Use (Amalgam Serration) if possible for higher sprint speed for Cloud Walker.

Legend
V --> Madurai
D --> Vazarins
_ --> Naramon
= --> Zenurik
U --> Umbra

Current Build

- (2 Forma) --> D (Narrow Minded) + V (Hunter Adrenaline)

Alternate Build(s)/Forma Configurations

- (4 Forma) D ({Exilus} Primed Sure Footed) + D (Narrow Minded) + V (Hunter Adrenaline) + = (Primal Rage)

  • (4 Forma) D ({Exilus} Primed Sure Footed) + D (Narrow Minded) + V (Hunter Adrenaline) + U (Umbral Vitality)

  • Swap Arcane Strike for a second Arcane [Fury] due to lack of proper melee input buffering at higher attack speeds for Primal [Fury] {As of Melee Phase 2}
