The whole point of this "mini nuke" build is to attach [Vauban]'s 1: Tesla Nervos to a single target, then shoot that same target until it's dead to "nuke" surrounding enemies. Using Tesla Nervos' augment, [Tesla Bank], you can store massive amounts of damage then release that damage in an AOE around the foe. Shooting the enemy that Tesla Nervos are attached to will "store" that damage into each individual Nervo. This means that if you get all 4 Nervos on a single target, the AOE damage will be 4 times the amount of damage you shot at the target. Upon death of the foe, [Tesla Bank] will activate, effectively wiping out all enemies in the area around the primary enemy, or at the very least deal a whole lot of damage.

Modding for range and duration makes the most of this augment. The added duration adds more charges so the nervos will last longer, and the added range makes it so the AOE from [Tesla Bank] is much larger.

Although not central to the build, having more range and duration also positively affects [Vauban]'s other abilities. And if you didn't know, strength plays a minimal role when playing with [Vauban]. Range and duration positively affect [Vauban]'s 4: Bastille, as well as [Vauban]'s 2: Minelayer.

The only reason why there is [Intensify], is to counter some of the minus strength and make it so that Bastille, Flechlette Orb, Overdriver, and Photon Strike are not completely useless. Although it should be noted that Flechlette Orb and Photon Strike both scale with enemy level and strength does not make too much of a difference.

Arcane [Guardian] and Arcane Aegis is simply for a little bit more survivability. If you find yourself surviving and not in need of these arcanes, then swap them out how you see fit.
