Hello everyone, I'm here to update Soma / Soma Prime build to incarnon mode and I'll be honest in saying that this weapon has very low stats compared to other incarnon weapons. In summary weapons like Torid and Latron incarnon can kill this same group of enemies less than 20~30 seconds, without Riven mods and without warframe skills just check https://youtu.be/EmSMe4pMkjU?t=190 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIAr6RrzNzQ.
The video below shows three useful ways to play
- without any external boosts;
- with increased fire rate;
- with increased damage and increased fire rate.
the latter being the most reliable build.
Mods:
Evolutions:
- Fortress Salvo = Increased base damage and the additional stat triggered by warframes with armor over 450, there are many warframes with this stat.
- Rapid Reinforcement = Soma / Soma Prime has a 3 second cooldown and this evolution significantly reduces that number. Every weapon above 2 seconds cooldown needs a fast cooldown mod.
- Zeroe In = Best option, this Increased critical damage on a weapon proportionally related to damage and critical chance.
Notes:
- No faction mod but if you want to add it you can replace Serration or Vigilant Armaments.
- The presence of the Serration mod is related to the efficiency of destroying enemies with Overguard Shield. For some reason Overguard is destroyed considerably faster by base damage mods like Serration or Heavy Caliber.
- Hata Satya is unfeasible so far as it cannot be triggered in incarnon mode.
- The Soma / Soma Prime is a hitscan fire weapon and for some reason hitscan fire doesn't work with projectile reflector / attractor bubbles like Xata's or Magnetize.
- The Fortress Salvo punch through mechanic doesn't seem to work even on warframes with less than 450 armor.
We now have builds equipped with Hunter Munitions and the reason for this change is simple, it is possible to considerably increase the damage of Hunter Munitions through the increase in critical damage and provided by the newly released arcane Primary Frostbit, this combination of Primed Cryo Rounds + Primary Frostbit is extremely useful for slowing and bleeding enemies but this needs to relate to some of the rules listed below:
- Fire rate between 10 and 15 or more.
- Status chance between 15% and 30% or more;
- Multishot between 2 and 3 pallets or more;
- Critical chance between 50% and 75% or more;
- Critical damage 2x or more;
- The weapon can have these stats natively or you can achieve them through dual stat mods.
- Any stats can be disregarded if the same weapon has higher numbers in equivalent stats i.e. more fire rate / multshot can replace mods that increase status chance..
- In summary Primary Frostbit needs to be comfortably triggered between 5 and 10 seconds.
Riven Mod God Roll:
- More Fire rate
- More Damage
- More Critical Chance
- More Critical Damage
