The Cycron is the perfect partner for Glaive-type weapons running Condition Overload

• As a 1-handed pistol, Glaives are automatically wielded alongside the Cycron
• The guns high status chance, fire rate and 3 base damage types is ideal for stacking multiple types of status ailments
• The [Cycron] does't reload, simply recharging when not in use for 1 second, meaning melee attacks don't stop the clip from refilling.

After modding extra status chance, fire rate, 2 additional elements and multishot onto the weapon, you can consistently apply 5 status ailments to an enemy in just 1/2 a second! That translates to 600% extra damage for [Condition Overload], meaning even the tankier enemies in the game are going to get demolished by whatever [Glaive] you are wielding. However, the weapons own DPS isn't too bad either, boasting 25k damage per clip in addition to its status ailments. That damage is even more impressive when it's realized that a [Glaive] can keep increase the dps even higher while the weapon is recharging.

The best partner for the weapon to date has been the Xoris, a critical hit machine that has a unique passive where the combo counter never times out. With no worries that firing the pistol at the wrong moment could cost the combo counter, it also benefits the most from the raw damage increase of [Condition Overload] and the weapon stripping enemy armor.
