Nourish Corrosive+Vrial+Heat. Balanced sustain-damage.

Used With This build
I know it's very expensive for how basic it is, but it works very well for me.

  • Why use corrosive instead of viral? Check out my Excallibur Umbra build. I'm using Nourish, which provides me viral damage on the blade. So we can actually get both corrosive and viral. I don't really have to tell you how strong that is, friend.
  • Why no heat or any other DoT? I get my heat damage from the [Chromatic Blade]. Elemental bonus from it applies last, same as with kuva weapons. Still using a heat mod is not a bad idea in this setup, just to get more heat procs instead of corrosive or viral. But i'd recommend investing into healing (as i do with [Healing Return]), crit damage (status damage scales with crits) or attack speed (i'm using an attack speed arcane, so primed fury is enough for me).
  • Why am i using primed reach on an exalted blade? Primed rach works on [Exalted Blade], but it doesn't affect the blade waves. Still you want to hit enemies with the blade itself instead of the blade waves, because wave damage is not nearly as good.
  • Why sacrifice damage for healing return? You kill most of the mobs in the first swing of your blade, up to lvl 200, i think. I don't really need any more damage, at that point.

Anyways, steel path is a joke with those two builds. Unless the enemies are immune to status т_т.
Ah, but it does kill acolytes pretty fast anyways, just be carefull, because some of them can disable your abilities, or just straight up one-shot you in melee.
