Wukong's Index: Aim-bot & Spawn manipulation

How to quickly and effortlessly get credits from the Index using Wukong's Celestial Twin abilitiy: A game provided aim-bot.
Wuk𝗈ng's clone will automatically attack enemies using one of the weapon you're not using yourself, this does consume ammunitions. This build assumes you're using a Kuva Nuk𝗈r, more on that below. Other weapons will work, its just not as good.

Remember to always start the Index from a Dojo or Relay to guarantee you get the good map layout!

Spawn Manipulation

In the Index enemies will spawn on a radius around you (especially around the host, the player with ping indicator #1), and out of your field of view. We can manipulate this to quickly cycle the enemies and save time!

  • Go the enemy's spawn, get your squad mates to AFK on the edge of the map while looking away in order to manipulate enemy's spawn location. It's the camera direction that matters, the direction in which the frame is facing is irrelevant afaik. Admire that landscape!

Yourself as Wuk𝗈ng should be standing further back. You want to be close enough to the edge to get good spawn while still giving your twin a line of sight to spawn-kill these nasty Corpus. You can use your ability 2 then cancel it (press it again, or melee attack) to teleport your clone to your location.
Here is how your position affect the enemy spawn, assuming all your allies are properly looking away and yourself are looking in the arrow direction:

The position B is obviously better, the grouped spawn allow to benefit from the Kuva Nuk𝗈r's chained damage to save on ammunition, and it makes for easier points collection. If you find yourself standing in position B and yet are getting position A spawns that means one of your ally is not properly looking away.

Spawn Manipulation in Action:

I usually go as Wukong and map host, and let someone else turn in points. That way I'm always in position to spawn-kill and it's less likely for enemies to appear around the player who's running back from our spawn.

Turn-in Points

The point counter is on the top left of screen, the more points you turn-in at once the more free bonus points you get.

  • The best value sweet spot is 15 points for a +8 bonus. Don't worry if you pick up more, it happens.

I recommend going with one (1) Wuk𝗈ng and one (1) point gatherer, anything else is flexible. Having two bots in your team doesn't seems to affect spawn significantly, but they will turn-in points in non-optimal amounts. If you do want to turn-in points yourself you can do so in Operator mode to keep your clone in place.

Remember to turn-in the first batch of points at the start of the map to increase the timer. Afterward just have the point-gatherer-person AFK looking away and let the points pile up on the ground for a while to avoid disturbing the spawn location when running around. Ideally you can gather point while still 'looking away', look in the direction of the points turn-in teleporter when moving around.

[Khora] makes for a strong point gatherer in this setup as she can rely on [Venari] with a [Fetch] mod. (That frame comes included with a kitty cat, a pet that is able to join the Index and can equip a loot vacuum mod.) Tankyness is irrelevant if we spawn-kill all the enemies.

Keep your clone shooting

You now only have one thing to worry about: Keep your clone shooting. For that we will need ammunitions, to keep it alive, and positioned with a line of sight on where the enemies appear.

All of that can be done with our ability 2: Cloud Walker. With it we get to move around quickly, without gathering points in our path and both ourselves and the clone get healed per the distance travelled. The twin will teleport to your location when Cloud Walker ends, allowing to reposition it quickly: Start Cloud Walker > Melee attack and it's done. A fantastic tool all around.

There is two ammunitions and energy spawners nearby:

Use Wellspring, the Ability 1 from the Zenurik Focus School if you have it to get passive energy generation. With it you won't need to pick up any energy orb, assuming you're not suffering of the energy degen from carrying Index points.

Make sure your allies are not stealing your ammo as the spawn are shared, but this shouldn't happen if they are doing their job: stand still and be pretty.

Note that if you're totally AFK for a while your clone will kneel down and won't do anything until you become active again. I never had this happen on the Index as I regularly use Cloud Walker and melee ground slam to exit it.

Some more info

This build rely on a [Kuva Nukor] used by the Wuklone to deal all its damage (link just below), hence the Pistol Scavanger aura for QoL. If you have the Helminth get Dispensary from [Protea]'s subsume for extra laziness on picking up ammos.

Do not equip any primary weapon to save yourself weapon swaps. You do want a melee weapon to quickly and reliably cancel your Cloud Walker using a melee attack. Remember to do a melee attack at the start of the map so that your clone switches to the pistol.

if you have Molt Vigor Arcane use your Springwell before summoning your clone to give it extra health.

Kuva Nukor build: https://overframe.gg/build/439917/

I do not have Wuk𝗈ng Prime or some of these mods:

Check out the cheap version of this build: https://overframe.gg/build/439899/
Use mod from this version over the cheap ones if you have them.

Why the Kuva Nuk𝗈r

The Kuva Nuk𝗈r has innate Radiation damage and you can also make it have innate Magnetic damage, both of which are very good against the Corpus of the Index. Its beam will chain to two nearby targets, it has high status chance and crit damage. And the cherry on top: it has 100% accuracy which makes it perfect to be used by the Celestial Twin.

As a side note it's also used in the late game as it is a fantastic Primer (a weapon you use to apply status effect with) thanks to its base high % status chance, chain effect, and it also has a unique status called Microwave that causes the part of the enemy hit to become larger. That effect allow for easier headshots once you did one, and it does count as an extra status on the target for effects scaling of the number of unique status present on a target.

How to get your Kuva weapon

Kuva Lich Guide - Youtube
There is no Mastery Rank requirement to get a Kuva weapon, the weapon appears ready to be claimed in your Forge once you killed the Lich, bypassing the MR check. Unlike what is said in the video you do not need your own RailJack to kill the Lich, having Intrinsic 5 (from tagging along in random RailJack missions) is enough to start the final mission in Saturn Proxima.

Yes that's a lot of work to get your hands on your first Kuva weapon, but once you've done it any following Kuva or Tenet weapon you wish to get will be a lot faster, and this category includes quite a few of the best weapons in the game. We are using a magnetic Kuva Nukor as it is both good for the Index and in general use as a Primer. I believe the elemental range you get (25%-60%) doesn't matter much, I did get lucky with a 59% on my first try though.

Wow that's a lot of credits, is it the best farm spot in the game?

No, the best would be the Profit Taker, a boss that will drop over 100k credits on the ground when killed. As the credits are not from an end of mission reward they can be reliably doubled by [Chroma]'s ability 4 and if you're lucky doubled again (and again! ...rarely) by the [Smeeta Kavat]'s ability [Charm], on top of any Credits Booster or Credits Blessing.

However you need Rank 5 reputation with Solaris United (Fortuna) to even lay your eyes on the Profit Taker, and then there is the whole ordeal of killing it. And killing it fast enough so that it makes for a good credit farm. Did I mention that boss is immune to all damages except for a single changing element? Anyway here is a speedrunning Profit Taker guide for end-game players if you wanna check it out.
