This weapon is mostly used as a stat stick for me but actually fairs relatively well in Steel Path.

• If you do not have a riven, swap it out for crit damage with Organ Shatter or Gladiator Might for the extra cc at high combo

If you are opposed to using a bane, you can swap for critical damage or Carnis Mandible for better slash weight and additional status chance.

A cheaper but still effective build would be minimum level 60 60s for viral and then [Weeping Wounds] in place of the bane, relying on the high status and decent slash weight to proc consistently.

If you want to take this weapon to level cap (God help you), drop viral completely in favor of Sacrificial Steel and Carnis Mandible to patch up crit stats and increase slash weight respectively.
