Psychic attacks make Nyx a dangerous foe. She reaches into enemy consciousness to provide crowd control and turn their attacks back on them. Such manipulation can turn the tide of battle.

Nyx for high levels

This is a minmaxed build for high levels for those who want to enjoy playing Nyx.
With two yellow shards we're able to drop Natural Talent. And with 2-3 red shards (30% additional strength is needed for 100% armor strip with her 2nd ab) we can drop [Intensify].
As the amount of strength [Nyx] requires is 130%, there's no point to pick any dmg abilities. And she doesn't need additional cc, but I use Airburst or Ensnare to group up enemies and strip exactly them, because her Bolts seem to aim random targets in line of sight.
We never remember her 4th ability. It doesn't exist, okay?
Our survive ability is [Rolling Guard] with [Brief Respite], and two augur mods ([Reach] and [Seeker] (on our secondary weapon. This is shield gate mechanic (don't forget to use Decaying Dragon Key)). So press 3 which costs 38 energy, and with those three mods mentioned above you gain 87 shields. With the key equipped [Nyx] has 75 shields. You can add to that Protective Dash from Vazarin focus school.
The augments are just for some more utility.
[Nyx] is more about high level content, so in basic missions she feels awkward.
Why to use default [Nyx] over Prime one? The only significant difference between them is a larger amount of shields (94 with the key) which in 2023 is a strong disadvantage (in case we use energy to shield conversion to become "immortal").
**You can replace Airburst with Condemn and put whatever aura you want, and you also don't need an augur mod on your secondary. And on top of that you can go max efficiency ([Fleeting Expertise] rank 4 and [Streamline] rank 4) because with Condemn we don't have to use energy as a resource for replenishing the shields. I used that for long time, it felt pretty good. I did my first level cap (meaning fighting against level 9999 enemies) solo in Disruption with Condemn [Nyx]. It felt pretty easy. So experiment.
