Cheap Steel Path Nezha (1 Forma/No Exilus) +Guide!

This is a beginner friendly [Nezha] build, requiring only base [Nezha], one forma, and some unmaxed mods. Scroll down to "Guide" for the guide

Umbral Mods?

If you don't have Umbral Mods, use the regular counterparts, and do the main questline

Augur Mods and Shieldgating

You will need [Augur Pact] on your secondary. This is to get you to 160% energy spent to shields. If you have a decaying dragon key in your gear wheel, [Nezha] will have 37.5 shield hp. If you cast Molt, with 50% efficiency it costs 25 energy, restoring 40 shields (and Molt will take enemy aggro).

Shieldgating is designed where if one instance of damage deletes your entire shield, you get 1.3seconds of invulnerability. That's why we take Decaying Dragon Key, to lower our shield so that it is fully restored with a 50 cost ability. I also like Defy on 1 here.

Other mods

[Rolling Guard] is there to give you another invulnerability. [Energy Siphon] is really nice to have when you take efficiency. [Fleeting Expertise] is to keep energy costs low, don't worry about lowered duration. [Nezha]'s abilities last much longer than necessary anyway

Arcanes

Arcane [Guardian] is a life saver, and when it procs you can activate your 3 for a really big ward. Arcane Acceleration is a great dps arcane if your Primary has decent crit chance

Guide

[Nezha]'s 1 is ofc the speed boost. It's good in some instances but for higher level content you really want something quantifiably useful every time you press it. This is why I have [Saryn]'s Molt. Molt takes enemy aggro, resets your shield and gives you a burst of speed. If you don't intend to shieldgate, this can be left as fire walket

[Nezha]'s 2 is phenomenal. You throw it at enemies and it bounces between them and makes them take more damage. If they die while under the effects of the vulnerability, they will drop health and energy orbs. Efficiency and Armor allow you to get the most from those drops. If you hold the 2 key you will throw the chakram much further, and that's when you want to use the recast to teleport to it and travel around. Try to keep your chakram bouncing as much as you can, but be careful not to recast it when you don't want to

[Nezha]'s 3 makes you invulnerable for 3sec. During that time the damage you would take is recorded, then multiplied by 2.5, and then that value is included in the ward hp. The ward will take 90% of the damage you would take and makes you status immune (so no magnetic/cold but also Knockdown/Stagger). 10% of damage still gets through but don't underestimate that especially in Steel Path. You want to use this when you first lose your shieldgate because you're under fire and that will buff the ward. When the ward runs out of hp you'll get another invulnerability, and then you cast it again and keep it up

[Nezha]'s 4 is underrated. It's essentially an AoE stun. On top of that it'll spawn more Chakrams when skewered enemies are hit with them. This is great in Steel Path where lots of enemies spawn. You can roll in, plenty of time to 4, while they're cc'd make them vulnerable with 2, kill them all and pick up all the health/energy orbs to recover any health/energy lost

Thanks for reading, good luck
