Lidless Harrow (4.9K EHP, 192% Strength)

All weapon and frame builds that I do for my clan, The Lidless Eye / Lidless, are uploaded for better planning on builds, and so we can find them later. While they are mainly for our use, feel free to use them! Everything we upload we use ourselves. Note: I do not read the comments section because this site tends to be very toxic. If you do decide to comment, be polite.

This build may not be perfect for everyone, and you should approach every frame you build at your own pace.

I also have this build done for Harrow Prime: https://overframe.gg/build/258658/

[Harrow] is an extremely powerful Warframe, utilizing an arsenal of powerful offensive and defensive abilities that can support his team, or deal major damage. A lot of builds can fail to grasp the utility of each of his abilities, however I have mained [Harrow] for over 1700+ hours, and have had the time to learn and appreciate each of his skills.

What kind of frame is Harrow?

I would classify Harrow as a regen-tank with solid support and DPS. This can depend on the weapons you use, and I recommend a high damage single shot primary, and an automatic secondary (however, feel free to use the reverse, if your arsenal suits it). My personal loadout consists of [Corinth Prime], [Aksomati Prime], and [Kronen Prime], all of my builds for which will be linked at the end of this guide.

What is [Harrow] good for?

[Harrow] is perfect for any mission, with the exception of maybe spy and rescue, however, if you know what you’re doing, those are not a problem. Any mission where I need endurance or damage, support or DPS, [Harrow] is my number 1 pick, and I highly recommend this build if you want a frame that can take a beating, and deal out an even bigger one.

Why does this build cost so much?

When understanding why I made this build the way I have, you first have to understand the kind of builds we at Lidless are going for. We like endurance, so we build our frames to be able to take pretty much anything you can throw at them. This means that if a Lidless build has been fully built and tested, you can assume it will be able to handle Arbitrations, Sorties, Steel Path, and whatever else you need it for. We didn’t come up with these builds overnight, and the mods we use are because we’ve run them through the ringer for a long time. I’ve spent way more forma on [Harrow] than this build might lead you to think. We prefer to ignore the set ways of the Warframe community, and make our own conclusions, and so our builds might seem unconventional. However, this means we can avoid a lot of the misconceptions that exist, basing our build entirely off of rigorous testing and information sourced from the game itself. This also means that we go all in on our builds, preferring to make them as good as they can be, without caring about the cost. For that reason, these builds are mostly intended for players intending to main the frame, rather than to run it casually. If you want a cheap and quick build, this is not the build for you; if you want a powerful build for a frame to main, look no further.

What are [Harrow]’s abilities?

Condemn is [Harrow]'s 1 ability, which sends a wave of chains forward entangling enemies and granting [Harrow] shields. The shields granted are based on the number of enemies hit, and the aforementioned enemies will be rendered immobile for a short period of time. This ability can be used to grab some extra shields in a pinch, to keep enemies from moving while you shoot them, and to fill up [Harrow]'s shield capacity for his second ability.

Penance is [Harrow]’s 2 ability, which removes his shields, and grants a number of buffs for a duration based on the number of shields broken. The buffs consist of a hefty fire rate buff, a reload speed buff, and healing based on damage dealt. This healing can be used to heal [Harrow], his allies, and even some targets such as the defense target on arbitrations. With a high damage weapon, this healing can [Reach] insane levels.

Thurible is [Harrow]’s 3 ability and one of my favorites. This ability allows [Harrow] to grant himself energy on kill, based on the energy channeled into the ability. On headshot kills, [Harrow] will receive four times as much energy. Allies within a range are granted energy whenever [Harrow] gets a kill, including the headshot bonus. I personally recommend running the mod [Warding Thurible] as it grants [Harrow] an additional .5 energy per kill for every hit he or an ally within range takes during channeling the ability. I’ve managed to get thuribles of 400+ energy per kill, which would grant 1,600+ energy on a headshot kill. This ability with this mod is part of why I just don’t bother with efficiency on [Harrow], since if you keep it rolling, you essentially have unlimited energy. (Mind that this may not work in every situation, however, the build is still tanky enough to handle even Steel Path without energy, in the right hands).

Covenant is [Harrow]’s 4 ability, and ultimately his most powerful. For a duration, [Harrow] and all of his allies within range become invincible and all damage absorbed will add to his Covenant Retaliation. This comes into effect when the invincibility ends, granting [Harrow] and his allies increased critical chance and even more critical chance on headshot kills. Covenant has a hard cap, and buffing its strength only serves to lower the required damage to max out the ability. With this build, taking just under 2,000 damage (around 1,800) will grant the full buff of 50% increased critical chance, or 200% increased critical chance on headshots. Stacking this with weapons that have high crit chance and high damage can lead to some truly stupid outcomes. This in tandem with the [Corinth Prime] build linked (albeit with a riven, not included on the build) has granted me frequent 1,000,000+ damage hits, the highest of which was a red crit with a damage of 2.4 million damage, though based on the math, the damage can go even higher.

Why did you choose the mods you did?

Most of the mods I chose were to match the endurance-based play style many of us at Lidless shoot for. Using the Umbral set of Primed mods allowed me to get high armor, strength, and health as, since they are a set, each one you have equipped increased the strength of the other two. [Primed Vigor] helps add to both [Harrow]’s shields and health, which is useful for many situations, whether it be needing that extra bit of HP for a high level mission, or just a bit more shields to help with Penance. [Continuity] is a good pick for increasing the duration of all of [Harrow]’s abilities, as chains keep enemies immobile longer, the duration of buffs lasts longer, you have more time to get energy, and condemn can actually be used effectively. I prefer [Flow] over efficiency on [Harrow], because many of his abilities cost quite a bit of energy to cast, and a large pool of energy allows [Harrow] to cast his abilities frequently between getting kills to replenish it. [Warding Thurible] is the best way to buff Thurible, so I find it to be a better pick than some mods that could fill in the same slot. Additionally, all of [Harrow]’s augments are the same polarity, so they can be swapped out as you please, for different effects. [Redirection] is a good pick for [Harrow] because of his already increased overshield capacity, allowing his shields to [Reach] some of the highest in the game, short of [Hildryn]. [Power Drift] is a good exilis mod, as it adds to [Harrow]’s ability strength, and many exilis mods are kind of subpar. [Rejuvenation] is a strange one, as it may seem like an odd choice, and understandably so. I run it because I tend to run with a lot of new players as a clan leader, and they benefit from the passive health [Regen]. Additionally, I just kind of like it. However, there are definitely mods that would suit many play styles better, such as [Corrosive Projection], or [Physique], both of which I would recommend.

For Arcanes, I would suggest Arcane [Guardian] and Arcane [Rage], as I feel they best suit the high damage high endurance build that we have tried to create. Arcane [Guardian] grants a 15% chance when you take damage that you will gain +900 armor for 20 seconds, which can greatly increase your effective hit points when you are without shields. In some cases on high level missions, this can be the saving grace that keeps you from going down long enough for you to heal. Arcane [Rage] stacks incredibly well with Covenant Retaliation and a high damage primary (such as my [Corinth Prime]). This grants a 15% chance on headshots that you will gain +180% damage to primary weapons for 24 seconds, which is more than enough to absolutely obliterate most enemies even on Steel Path.

Should I play [Harrow]?

The frames you choose to play is up to you, as Warframe is a game that allows for everyone to find a play style that suits them. However, if you like the way [Harrow] plays, or are looking for a frame that can fill in any role in a squad, Harrow is a fantastic choice.
