Yes, I know, Viral all the things. However:
- Enemies' health pools are too small to add Viral, especially Corpus and Infested. Raw health pools are evaporated by [Desert Wind] at almost any level.
- [Reactive Storm] will already switch to Viral for Flesh and Cloned Flesh health types.
- No reliable source of Slash Bleed procs to bypass armor unless one relies on some external means, such as primary or secondary weapons.
- Armor is far more ubiquitous on enemies than unarmored health pools and, while Corrosive may not have a damage bonus against Alloy Armor, the Corrosion status will still temporarily strip it.
The damage type to which Reactive Storm converts the innate/base Impact damage of [Desert Wind] will combine with elemental damage on [Desert Wind]. To avoid this, always mod combined damage types on [Desert Wind]. Additional modded Impact damage is not converted by [Reactive Storm].
