IMPORTANT NOTE: This guide assumes basic understanding of Vauban's abilities. Please read up on the wiki or test in game yourself if you do not already know. Fortunately this build is so ridiculously simple to understand that you don't really need to know much.
This is a pure vortex build (hold 4). Playstyle is simple. You only ever send out Vortices. And you summon a Spectorage (augmented with Spectrosiphon) on a Vortex to make enemies killed in the field drop energy orbs.
Stat Prioritization:
Range is the most important stat obviously, for Vortex being huge. Although, do finetune it to the tileset you're in - people don't enjoy Vortices getting enemies stuck behind walls.
Efficiency is also important, to just spam it.
Duration is also important, but not that much. Repelling Bastille is in the build in case a Vortex needs to last long.
Strength is useless for Vortex. It increases the armour strip of Bastille, but Bastille != Vortex. Just ignore it. Important to note that Strength is good on Vauban - just not on a Vauban that spams only Vortex (and a helminth subsume whose augment doesn't rely on strength).
It's great to lockdown entire maps. This is particularly so in Interception, as enemies ragdolled by Vortex are NOT considered as physically being on the point, allowing you to capture points even while enemies are on.
While eximus are not ragdolled by Vortex, they are slowed down by it still.
Auras and arcanes are preferential. Just don't use awful things. Or do, I cannot control how you mod after all. If you're some extremely budget player who cannot spare formas, using a Naramon ( - ) polarity aura (example, Enemy Radar) and a cheap exilus mod like Cunning Drift will make the build cost 0 forma.
Helminth used is Spectorage, why it's used is mentioned earlier already. It is not necessary, but it is obviously helpful to spam energy orbs when killing enemies trapped in a Vortex.
This build relies on shieldgating. You will die if you don't shieldgate, or you may not honestly when everything's going to be stuck in a Vortex anyway...

Have a demonstration video of this in an example Interception. Also not bothering to kill things until the end. (You don't actually need to energy pad normally, I spammed them here because... Spectrosiphon requires enemy kills, of course.)
And if you think this doesn't show how much Vauban trivialises it yet... here's the same, but with a 0 forma 0 potato regular Vauban!
I would recommend running more duration than what I had in the video, but it was serviceable enough.
In honor of senpai's legacy 🙏 they will be missed.
