Ash, but bladestorm is underrated, 100k/1m true damage per mark.

This [Ash] build focuses on Bladestorm. Unlike what some may say, bladestorm scales exponentially into higher levels, because it completely ignores armor. This build is meant PURELY FOR SURVIVAL MISSIONS. It will not work well AT ALL in any other mission.

This build requires a good melee statstick, mainly for combo. I would personally suggest my [Redeemer] build here
Though you could use a [Venka Prime], if you'd rather uselessly high numbers over consistency.

You may also use any other melee you like, as long as you have [Primed Fury] equipped onto the melee, for the attack speed and animation speed of the clones. A status procing Epitaph can also work to increase the damage of your clones, and melee damage.

The reason i suggest the [Redeemer], is that it's soooo easy to get to max combo, that you don't even need extra attack speed with arcane strike, and you don't need the augment for [Ash]'s 4, meaning you can focus more on dps. The reason it's so easy is explained more in the build for [Redeemer Prime].

"Why do you have minus duration? wouldn't you want to use smoke screen so you have invisibility and your bladestorm costs less?" No, actually. That takes away from power strength, which gets MULTIPLIED not only by [Steel Charge], but by arcane [Fury] AND your melee combo counter. Since it's multiplied, a single percent equates to wayyy more damage. Arcane trickery takes care of invisibility, since bladestorm's kills count as a finisher kill (as long as they're not killed by slashes, so use weaker enemies to get the invis proc.)

If you get hit by a stray aoe, worry not, shield gating has made the augur mod's secondary ability way more useful, you can gain most of your shields back by killing all the enemies in the area.

Additional info for subsume:

[Savage Silence] will multiply your bladestorm damage by an additional 900%, making you actually able to hit well over 1m damage per mark with this build. Previously, this was also bugged to allow melee damage mods to apply to bladestorm, which made your damage able to spike to over 30m if modded well. It's possibly still bugged on console.

You can also feel free to take away some strength for more duration, and a little more range through [Narrow Minded], [Stretch] and [Augur Reach]. 1m damage is NOT necessary at ALL, unless you want to go for a super long endurance run in steel path. More duration will keep you more consistently invisible, though that won't be super necessary because of silence stunning enemies. It will also require less recasts of silence.
