Styanax never wonders how many enemies he will face, only where he can find them. The hoplite deals high damage. Enemies tremble before his spear and shield.

Styanax {Nourish}

All I want from a Warframe is to sail smoothly through the mission, and to not die easily.

Madural Focus School. +40% Ability Strength, +50% Casting Speed.

Functional 318% Strength.

Shards: +30% Spawn Energy, +50 Energy max. Maybe +25% Casting speed?

4.18x energy multiplier from Nourish, 9.54 energy rate from Rally Point, altogether totals 39.88 energy per second. With this kind of energy generation, [Styanax] will be gaining energy faster than he can spend it. Why would he need so much?~~ To spam Axios Javelin and Tharros Strike for micro-shieldgates in a pinch. As a plus, [Styanax] can slightly increase the chance of Arcane Aegis activating.~~ The almighty Final Stand coupled with [Intrepid Stand] means building mountains of overguard which enemies won't soon crack into.

Rally Point at 318% functional strength returns 159 shields per kill or assist. [Intrepid Stand] at 318% Strength gives 190.8 overguard per hit and a cap of 47,700 overguard.

[Styanax]'s passive gives 48.75% scaling crit chance at max overshields (1950), doubling to 97.5% for Spearguns. Not worth building around, but can unexpectedly be a nice compliment at times.

[Redirection] might make more sense considering [Styanax]'s passive; nevertheless [Vitality] is used for a better buffer against Toxin procs. I'm not terribly worried about dying as [Styanax], since the playstyle involves spamming Tharros Strike and Final Stand, more often than not there will surely be some softened enemies that Last Grasp can deal with.

Definitely worth considering an Umbral forma to slot in [Umbral Vitality] for a full Umbral set. [Umbral Fiber] is intentionally rank 0, as it's not terribly important to max, plus the saved space is appreciated.

Thanks to Nourish's Viral buff and Tharros Strike's full defense strip, [Styanax] can use wild combinations of weapons and statuses as he pleases. Best companion is definitely a Vulpaphyla with Martyr Symbiosis and Tek Assault.

It might be worth investing in a ExCon primer specifically for [Styanax].

In case it wasn't obvious, [Styanax] is incredibly fun, with a great balance of satisfaction, challenge and engagement.
