The Tatsu Prime is a bit of an oddball for melee weapons as it has fairly good base stats with an objectively bad stance. This build focuses on status build-up without combo count. The four dual stat mods Virulent Scourge, Vicious Frost, Volcanic Edge, and Carnis Mandible push the status chance to 102% while providing Viral, Heat, and some Slash damage.

The Tatsu has a unique attack that collects up to 5 Swarm Souls and releases them as projectiles that seek out enemies when a spin attack is performed.
