MAG PRIME ESO BUILD

[Mag] is a Warframe based on magnetic force. She boasts high shield strength in exchange for reduced health, and her abilities make her a potent medium for crowd control and manipulation. She is one of three starter options for new players.

[Mag] Abilities

A primary problem I encountered when making this build was the fact that strength, efficiency, range, and duration are ALL good when used on [Mag].

In this build I utilize her augment for her fourth ability, crush, called [Fracturing Crush]. At rank 3 [Fracturing Crush] will prevent enemies from moving for 7 seconds and reduce enemy armor by 50% if they are not initially killed by Crush.

This build was made to utilize the 7-second immobility that [Fracturing Crush] gives [Mag]. Albeit duration may be more fitting for her third ability, polarize, having an initial range is certainly no setback. The added range gives both Crush and Polarize good initial range and then the added duration gives Polarize a bit longer to radiate out and strip some shields and harm some armor.

Stats to consider

[Fracturing Crush]: 80% Armor Reduction and 13.30s Root Duration

With the use of Crush and another one or two uses of polarize, [Mag] can strip ALL enemy shields and armor and stun enemies for seven seconds. 190% range won't allow Crush to kill all the enemies but it will certainly stun them and make them much easier to kill. This build isn't so much for the infinite kills as someone such as [Equinox] is used for, but has crazy utility compared to other warframes which allows for better team survivability and overall damage output.

Now comes the nitty-gritty of somehow trying to fit every mod on her frame.

When using this build you have 4 options.

A) Use an umbral forma to allow for more open slots allowing you to change up the aura mod and removing the need to use a fifth normal forma.

B) Don't max rank [Umbral Vitality] leave it at rank 9 so that you can use other auras that only give +14 capacity instead of +18 like [Steel Charge] and [Power Donation]

C) Leave [Overextended] at rank 4 instead of 5. You will lose 15% range and gain 10% strength and you will be able to change and forma your aura slot.
Edit: I recommend using rank 4 out of 5 [Overextended] because the added versatility is definitely a plus but I'm leaving the build how it currently is.

D) Follow my exact build above and cry because you can only use [Steel Charge] as your aura or else all of the mods won't fit.

After some brainwave acceleration I've managed to figure out how to fit everything on this build while allowing you to change your aura slot.

I've set [Overextended] to stay at rank 4 which puts your overall strength at 175%. I took off [Power Drift] because you no longer need that extra 15% strength and instead you can put on [Cunning Drift] which gives you back the 15% range that leaving [Overextended] at rank 4 left you missing.

Basically what this is saying is that you still meet the 160% threshold which is where it gives maximum armor reduction (-80%) but you keep the range I had before this change. Plus you can forma your aura to equip whatever aura you fee necessary but above I use [Corrosive Projection] for further armor reduction.

Overall, this build is trying to fit more than it should be able to, making it extremely forma expensive and overcrowded. Either way, this is as good as it gets for ESO so enjoy!
