The General's Armaments - Mi-24KL Hind

A Little Intro

Kuva Weapons. Love them or [Hate] them, they are here to stay and they're strong in their own ways. The [Kuva Hind] is no different. This weapon is what I would've wished the [Tiberon Prime] was, and has become my main primary of choice for the last while. Solid stats, progenitor bonus, flexibility in fire modes, it's a great all-around weapon I don't see often. While it is a jack of all trades, it is still a master of none. Anyways, you want a build, so let's talk about it.

PROGENITOR BONUS

(Please refer to https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Kuva_Lich/Progenitor for updated the progenitor table should a new frame be released upon viewing this build)

Recommended Element: Toxin
Reason: Used for viral. Should you come across a Riven and plan to use Viral, try going for either Cold or Toxin (Or both) depending on what you specifically want for your own build.

Slot Choice Explanation

Galvanized Mods

  • If you don't have access to them by this point, I suggest you work your way to getting them through Arbitrations. Arbitrations are unlocked via clearing the star chart, and checking to see what you still need to clear can be done via interacting with the Arbitrations representative in the Arbiters of Hexis room at any relay. Use standard Split Chamber and some other mod of choice in place of Galvanized Aptitude and Chamber.

Primed Cryo Rounds and Shred

  • For creating Viral damage and improving both fire rate (counteracting Critical Delay's penalty) and adding punch through. Use standard counterparts if you do not have access to these mods, or in case of Shred, use any fire rate mod of choice if you wish to.

Amalgam Serration

  • Damage is important, but the choice between standard or Amalgam is up to you. If you prefer using faction-damage mods, go for it.

The Crits and Hunter Munitons

  • Need I really explain? It's got solid crit stats. Might as well make use of them. And while at it, make the enemy bleed. >:)

Exilus Slot

  • I prefer to use Vigilante Supplies on my primary weapons most of the time, as just that small chance to get better crits can be a big help. If you choose to use a sentinel, you could stack the other Vigilante mods onto it as a stat stick.

Arcane Slot

  • Personally, I would use Primary Deadhead over Merciless for better damage output when aiming for the head, and the reduced recoil. If you want to use Fractalized Reset, its up to you.

Riven???

A riven is not needed to bring this weapon to Steel Path worthiness, as I've used it for quite a while without one and found it has solid enough damage to kill whatever's in front of me, done easier when aiming for the head. If you obtain a riven for the [Hind], I can't exactly guide you on where to go with it, but I suggest going for crit chance and viral. If you have viral on the riven, change the progenitor element to Magnetic.

Who do I use this with? What fire mode do I use?

Anyone. If you have an armor-strip build on your frame, even better. As for fire mode, its on you to choose. Each fire mode has it's own strengths and weaknesses, and this build was more centered around buffing it up as a whole rather than any specific fire mode.

And that's it!

I hope you found this build helpful, and here's to 2023, Tenno!
