Using the [Balefire Surge] augment and her 1 make it fairly easy to keep her shields recharged. Just remember that the shots need to be fully charged and they need to be direct hits. This shouldn't be too challenging since anything close to you will be immobilized.

Keep in mind that when she activates her 4 the cursor moves to below her arm. When first testing this build I had trouble keeping the shields up because I couldn't find it.
