Macrowave primer/dps hybrid(Magnetic)

Macrowave beam go brrr.

Explanation for mods used in this build

[Galvanized Diffusion]: Essential for both priming and dealing damage as multishot increases the number of projectiles your weapon shoots.

[Galvanized Shot]: The main source of damage for this build. The [Condition Overload] function of this mod simply lets you do additional damage with every unique proc on the enemy. The reason why we dont use [Hornet Strike] is because of diminishing returns. When you have multiple sources of damage scaling off the same base, each source will collectively be less efficient. The [Nukor] is able to inflict 5 unique statuses, resulting in an additional 200% damage. With 3 stacks, [Galvanized Shot] alone contributes to 7x damage, and i say 7x because the 600% is added on top of the base damage. [Sure Shot] is not an acceptable replacement as it only increases status chance.

[Primed Target Cracker]: Increases the already insane critical damage. so we might as well abuse the crit potential of the [Nukor].

[Creeping Bullseye]: Even though the [Nukor] has a very low critical chance, we can still make use of its high critical multiplier. [Creeping Bullseye] will decrease fire rate, but the penalty can be ignored with fire rate mods.

[Pistol Pestilence] and [Frostbite]: These fuse together to make viral, which is especially good against any health type. Viral increases damage dealt to health and just one proc is enough to counteract the damage type disadvantage against weaker Infested. When facing tougher enemies that are immune to viral, we can switch out [Frostbite] for [Jolt], making corrosive. Of course, these can be replaced by their respective 90 mods, but hinders the chances for heat to proc, and less status chance overall.

[Primed Heated Charge]: Adds a ton of elemental damage. Combined with Cascadia flare, it can add up to +480% damage at full stacks. Keep In mind Cascadia Flare's buff will not decay, but expire if you do not proc heat for 10 seconds, unlike [Galvanized Diffusion] and [Galvanized Shot]. [Heated Charge] will work fine if you haven't purchased [Primed Heated Charge] from Baro yet.

[Lethal Torrent]: Increases fire rate as well as multishot, making the total multishot 4. The fire rate counteracts [Creeping Bullseye]'s penalty as well. This can be replaced with other fire rate mods, but you will lose out on multishot.

Exilus slot: Any mod you prefer can be placed in this slot. [Eject Magazine] is also recommended since it helps with dexterity. We can safely ignore the Exilus slot's mismatching polarity since we already have enough mod capacity to work with.

Arcane: Any arcane of your choice.

FLEXIBLE OPTIONS

Keep in mind that this build requires as many status types as possible to maximize the damage done with [Galvanized Shot]. [Galvanized Shot], [Primed Heated Charge] and [Galvanized Diffusion] cannot be replaced since there are no other mods that match their damage output. Unless stated otherwise, flexible options should only replace [Lethal Torrent].

[Galvanized Crosshairs] and [Primed Pistol Gambit](replaces [Creeping Bullseye]): Galv. Crosshairs will increase critical chance to 30%
at max stacks but it requires headshot kills. [Primed Pistol Gambit] will decrease critical chance to 20%, a measly 1% decrease. I'd say [Creeping Bullseye] is optimal since it is the easiest to obtain with the most effectiveness.

[Seeker]: Punch through only affects the primary beam, but it can seriously increase dps as the primary beam can pierce through enemies, connecting more enemies with secondary beams.

Expel mods: Useful when modding against a specific type of enemies since faction mods apply multiplicatively.

Other fire rate mods: Fire rate mods like [Anemic Agility] and [Gunslinger] increase fire rate even more, but you will lose out on multishot. If you have other sources that buffs fire rate, then this slot can be used for other mods.

Magazine capacity and reload speed mods: Good QOL mods, useful in their own ways.

Synth mod set: The set buff "charges" your weapons when it is holstered(not holding it in your hands). The Synth set reloads your weapon by 5%/s for each mod, up to 20%/s(complete set of 4) of your total capacity. [Synth Charge] isn't very useful since its bonus damage only applies to the last shot.

[Perpetual Agony]: Status duration, very useful QOL mod for priming.
