This is better than Viral + Slash or Viral + Heat due to the innate grouping effect.

[Vile Acceleration] isn't needed. The slower fire rate helps you not waste ammo when you don't need to.

I don't give a fuck what the site says, no, crit mods are NOT good on this weapon. We only run [Hammer Shot] to hit 100% Status chance. Why not use [Galvanized Aptitude] instead? It doesn't work. The extra crit damage on the off chance we do get a crit is worth more than the literal nothing and extra forma cost that [Galvanized Aptitude] has to offer.

[Primed Cryo Rounds] is a big trap. The site's calc will tell you it's better because it doesn't take into account status weighting which is where a lot of our damage comes from. Sure this build won't net you those 200k sustained dps numbers the other builds show but in practice it performs much better thanks to the built in crowd control and quadratic scaling of Electricity. Quadratic scaling means the more enemies you're fighting the higher your damage scales, the faster you kill them all.

We do not forma the slot with [Hammer Shot] because there are other builds that are worth running at times on this weapon that do not use a vazarin polarity.
