For archons, liches, and demolitionist we're looking for high average hit (not burst or sustained). Mult avg. by 4x to estimate the "heavy-attack" damage.
Wound-up this build lands an average alt-fire of 3.46M if you connect with all the pellets.

Prime the shotgun with 4x head-shots on trash-mobs then aim and alt-fire into the archon's crystal.
(Reload and firerate don't help for this purpose.)

Also works well on disruption demolitionist and liches.
You could go for Toxic over radiation to change the cold to viral but I like cold-procs on demos to slow them down if you don't one-shot it.

Reading over all the other builds [Soft Hands] is an alternative option for Lock and Load to reduce spread especially if you are already running Vigorous Swap on your wf.

Pull it out for the big-baddies then put it away for the auto-reload. Melt everything else with a [Tenet Cycron] or [Kuva Nukor] + melee.

Swapping out [Shrapnel Shot] for [Laser Sight] for more consistent crits. Minor drop in dps from 865k to 845k.
