Phantasma Prime

Phantasma prime build, plus ranting

by last updated a year ago

Phantasma Prime is burnished with deadly force. In Revenant’s hands, it has increased magazine capacity. The might of its irradiated plasma is reminiscent of the fearsome Eidolon.

Phantasma prime build, plus ranting

to preface everything about this weapon and its non-prime counterpart, this beast fucking shreds, with or without a riven, prime or non-prime. you can ignore all of my gripes with the weapon, DE not understanding their own game and the riven dispo system, pick up the weapon and absolutely dominate the steel path, or you could read ahead and attempt to understand the deranged ramblings of a madman, the choice is yours.

first thing i have to get out of my system, DE does not know why people play their game, or what their game is for that matter, warframe is a power fantasy horde shooter and they refuse to accept that, neutering all the aoe weapons does not make the game fun, if little timmy wants to walk through his exterminate mission with his [Burston Prime], he can play solo, i am here to sprint roll and bullet jump my way through the mission roleplaying as the living embodiment of death raining heavy ordinance down upon the unfortunate fuckers who dare consider me their enemy, BECAUSE ITS FUN. considering DE hates fun, it surprises me that they even let the [Phantasma] exist in the first place, beam weapons in general are dummy busted, remember the [Ignis Wraith]? infinite body punch through is arguably better than traditional aoe since it has no falloff, just spray into a group of enemies and they all receive the same amount of pure [Hate]. then there is multishot, its hard to explain but multishot functions differently on beam weapons than traditional guns, simplest way to explain it is you effectively get double the status procs than you would on a non-beam weapon, which is busted and how beam weapons kill, you stack hundreds of dots and the enemy just melts. [Phantasma] in particular has two innate damage types, impact and radiation, all other notable beam weapons only have one making it benefit from [Galvanized Savvy] that much more, making it one of if not the best beam weapon. the only thing the [Phantasma], and beam weapons in general, lack in is acolyte killing power, all that status means jack fucking shit when it comes to acolytes, so you gotta switch out to your melee or secondary, i like using a [Sporelacer] kitgun, or a [Glaive Prime].

dont go out of your way to get a riven, if you do (or already have one) DO NOT waste your time building or formaing the prime. the normal version will be better until either its dispo drops, or the primes increases, which could take months.

my original riven was toxin, multishot, crit damage, which i rolled specifically for the prime assuming we would get actually useable crit stats then prime came out and its crit stats fucking sucked, rolled it some more and got electricity and multishot, far more than my original riven so ive updated the build to include it.

you may notice that you dont need the extra madurai on [Scattering Inferno], the thing is i was running [Galvanized Acceleration] for a while, mainly while leveling it, but after actually using it in actual missions i now know that if you want to only have to use your primary, and not swap to a secondary or use your melee, you are gonna need ammo mutation, just too many instances of hitting zero ammo, which probably wouldnt have been as much of an issue IF DE DIDNT NERF MERCILES AND JUST STUCK TO THEIR GUNS ON BUFFING GUNS THOSE NO GOOD PROMISE BREAKING SACKS OF SHI-
where was i, oh yeah you can get away with less froma if you run mutation from the get go
