Phantasma Prime

use this for easy Steel Path: Electric Edition

by last updated 2 years ago

1430

Phantasma Prime is burnished with deadly force. In Revenant’s hands, it has increased magazine capacity. The might of its irradiated plasma is reminiscent of the fearsome Eidolon.

Crit Disclaimer:
If you're gonna run crit at all, run Primed Ravage with Arcane Avenger + Combat Discipline. This weapon's base critical chance is still too low to be worth using a mod slot on crit chance. It's probably still better to run a Primed Cleanse mod instead though.

Turns out this is also viable, and not any cheaper to buy the mods for! [Primed Point Blank] & [Primed Charged Shell] give us 165% base damage & 165% Electric compared to the 60% Base damage & 150% Heat from [Blaze] & [Incendiary Coat]. That extra base damage makes it a little easier to get your initial kills and the extra Electric weighting is nice too. This performs about the same vs the Heat build with both at full stacks with the exception being that if you have a grouping ability the quadratic scaling of the electric procs will result in significantly higher DPS. Also fun to see Electric actually put in some work for once.

We're forced to run Viral on this one since we can't do Corrosive. Gas is worse even with grouping since its damage scaling is just terrible. If DE were to remove the proc cap of 10 for Gas then it might be viable, but until then it just can't compete.
