Due to armor cap, Danse Macabre no longer requires full armor strip to perform and in fact can even nuke up to levelcap due to the damage absorption mechanic. Danse deals damage equal to enemy damage absorbed, but this decays rapidly over time unless you continue to take damage. Danse Macabre also has innate armor strip since it procs corrosive status on any armored enemies. By levelcap, enemies typically deal up to 1 million damage per shot, meaning each revolution of nine lasers deals 9 million damage after just one shot. If you absorb damage for a few seconds, you could absorb upwards of 10 to 50 million damage meaning each revolution deals 450 million damage total, enough to oneshot all enemies at levelcap without armor strip.

You can subsume roar or nourish over 1. Roar helps scaling Danse at lower levels while Nourish helps with energy economy.

Reave is kept not to actually use Reave to kill, but for mobility since it allows you to travel around the map very fast. Reave is currently bugged with Danse as spamming reave allows you to continuously build momentum and become even faster than [Titania].

BUILD SPECIFICS

Duration
Positive duration is required for Roar uptime, Reave duration (for moving around quickly) and to reduce energy drain of Danse Macabre. You need 166% duration and 160% efficiency to hit the minimum channeling cost.

Efficiency
Positive efficiency is required for energy drain of Danse Macabre and to allow Reave to be easily spammable. You need to hit 160% efficiency at 166%+ duration for minimum drain.

Range
Ranse does not affect the total sweep radius of Danse, only the beam thickness which doesn't really seem to impact it's effectiveness. Range is not necessary for roar or mesmer skin, and we are not using reave to kill so we dont need range for reave either.

Strength
Strength is required for Roar and Mesmer skin, and only helps Danse in very low levels. In very high levels, absorbed damage adds a flat amount of damage on making strength basically useless for Danse.

Archon Shards
1 tau cast speed shard or 2 regular cast speed shards helps with mesmer skin recasting and entering Danse animation.
1 tau corrosive stack shard lets Danse proc up to 13 corrosive procs for 98% armor strip, which is only about 15% difference to 100% strip with 2 corro shards.
The rest goes into strength shard

Arcanes
Molt Augmented and [Vigor] provide more strength to Roar and Mesmer Skin, but these are entirely optional and can be adjusted to your preference or situation.
