Shred is there for the punch-through to make orbs bounce less erratically. Be careful of shooting through walls since the punch-through value is higher than necessary for the improved consistency from not bouncing off of all your targets.

This build focuses around leaving plenty of orbs to deal damage and add critical chance to other weapons while also spreading overlapping AOE status damage.
