My name is UltimoFive and today we are going over the Sicarus Prime, The Slayer's Piece.

Weapon Information

• Sicarus Prime is the Prime Version of [Sicarus] and was released alongside Glaive Prime and Ember Prime. In order to obtain Sicarus Prime one must open a variety of relics that contain the Blueprint, Barrel, and Receiver in order to make it at the foundry.

• Sicarus Prime requires a mastery rank of 14.

• Sicarus Prime comes with a "V" Polarity Slot, plus a "Dash" Exilus Slot. Because of this, the builds on this weapon will require 5 Forma.

• Sicarus Prime excels in Close to Medium Range Combat, dealing with High Leveled Enemies of all factions against Single Targets and Small Crowds.

Comparison to the Original [Sicarus]

The Sicarus Prime has a few buffs when compared to the original Sicarus in different areas. These stats would be:

• Higher Base Damage at 50.0 Vs. 30.0

• Higher Critical Chance at 25% Vs. 16%

• Higher Status Chance at 20% Vs. 6%

• Higher Fire Rate at 9.38 Rounds/Sec Vs. 7.39 Rounds/Sec

• Larger Magazine at 24 Rounds Vs. 15 Rounds

Advantages Vs. Disadvantages

Advantages:

• High Critical Chance at 25%

• Above Average Fire Rate at 9.38

• Very Little Recoil

Disadvantages:

• Slow Reload Speed at 2.0 Seconds

• Below Average Ammo Efficiency due to being a burst fire weapon, in which a target may die to 4 rounds. Leading to wasted ammo

Builds

Corpus | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Elements for the Sicarus Prime against the Corpus will be Viral/Electricity. Viral amplifies health damage by 100% for 6 seconds and stacks up to 10 times for a total of 325%. Meanwhile, Electricity stuns the target for 3 seconds and deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds. The Build's Flex Slot is [Convulsion] or [Primed Expel Corpus] and works extremely well into late game with Electricity Procs helping with CC and Dot. Even without Electricity the Build runs well if one takes out [Convulsion] for a Riven Substitute.

Corrupted & Grineer | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Element for the Sicarus Prime against the Corrupted and Grineer will be Viral/Heat. Heat deals 50% base damage per second over 6 seconds while stripping up to 50% armor and causes targets to panic. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Heated Charge] or [Primed Expel Corrupted] or Grineer and works well into late game with Heat Procs helping with CC and Dot. Normally Slash would be better, but due to the Slash Damage percentage it is better to just run [Primed Heated Charge]. However, another option would be to run [Carnis Stinger] if one chooses Slash Procs over Heat.

Infested | 5 Forma | Tested Up To Level 155

The Element for the Sicarus Prime against the Infested will be Gas. Gas deals 50% base damage per second for 6 seconds in a 3 meter radius and stacks up to 10 times to a total of 6 meters. The Build's Flex Slot is [Primed Heated Charge] or [Primed Expel Infested] and works great into late with Gas Damage over Time. It even effectively works against the Higher Tiered infested enemies as well in which you just kill a wave of infested and let everything run through the giant amounts of Gas Clouds.

Recommended Alternative Mods

• Steady Hands - In place of Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation to reduce Weapon Recoil and helps the weapon excel into Long Range.

• Barrel Diffusion - In place of Galvanzied Diffusion if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration or doesn't have it.

• Hornet Strike - In place of [Galvanized Shot] if one doesn't have have access to the mod through Arbitration or doesn't have it. However, one would need to Forma in an extra "V" Polarity Slot rather than a "D" Polarity Slot.

• (Primed) Pistol Gambit - In place of [Galvanized Crosshairs] if one doesn't have access to the mod through Arbitration, doesn't have it, or would prefer only Flat Critical Chance.

• Target Cracker - In place of Primed Target Cracker if one doesn't have it.

• Pistol Gambit - In place of Primed Pistol Gambit if one doesn't have it.

• Pistol Ammo Mutation - In place of Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation if one doesn't have it.

• Expel Faction Mods - In place of their Primed Counterparts if one doesn't have them.

• Ice Storm - In place of Frostbite if one would prefer Magazine Capacity and is ok with sacrificing Status Chance and a bit of Cold Damage.

• Carnis Stinger - In place of Primed Heated Charge in the Corrupted and Grineer Build if one would prefer Slash Procs instead of Heat.

• Lethal Torrent or (Primed) Pistol Gambit - In place of The Build's Primed Expel Mod if one doesn't like using Faction Mods.

Synergy with Sicarus Prime

There are several ways to enhance Critical Stats and Damage for this weapon:

Damage:

• Rhino's Roar adds bonus damage.

• [Nova]'s Molecular Prime makes all sources of damage increase by 100% against primed enemies, on top of that they will detonate upon death dealing blast damage.

• Saryn's Toxic Lash mixed with her Spores abilities.

• Mirage's Eclipse adds a massive damage bonus during the day or in light.

• Equinox's Rest & Rage in Day Form makes targets more vulnerable to Damage.

• Wisp's Haste Reservoir bolsters Fire Rate, in turn increasing DPS.

• Xata's Whisper grants Void Status and increases Weapon Damage.

• Chroma's Vex Armor when Health gets damaged increases Weapon Damage.

Critical Stats:

• Harrow's Covenant can add up to 50% Critical Chance and 200% on headshots.

• Volt's Electric Shield when shot through adds a 200% Critical Damage Multiplier.

• [Frost]'s Passive with his Biting Frost Augmentation grants a 200% increase to Critical Chance and Critical Damage upon attacking Frozen Enemies.

• Zephyr's Passive increases Critical Chance by 150% while airborne.

• Yareli's Passive increases Critical Chance by 200% after moving around for at least 1.5 seconds.

• Adarza Kavat with Cat's Eye can give a 60% Critical Chance boost.

• Smeeta Kavat with Charm can give a 200% Crit Chance.

Arcane Synergy

• Arcane Precision - On Headshot, 100% chance for 300% damage to pistols for 18 seconds.

• Arcane Awakening - On reload, 60% chance for 150% damage to pistols for 24 seconds.

• Arcane Avenger - Upon getting hit, 21% chance for 45% Critical Chance for 12 seconds.

• Arcane Arachne - On Wall Latch, 150% Damage for 30 seconds.

• Arcane Pistoleer - Upon Headshot kill with Pistol, 60% chance for 102% Ammo efficiency for 12 seconds.

Secondary Arcanes

• Secondary Merciless - On Kill 30% Damage for 4 seconds, which stacks up to 12 times and comes with 30% Reload Speed and 100% Max Ammo. This arcane is for the Main Faction Builds.

• Cascadia Accuracy - On Roll, 300% Critical Chance on Headshots for 4.0 Seconds.

Riven Synergy

When you get your hands on a Riven for this weapon the Flex Slot to replace will be what was previously discussed before. This can require 1 more Forma and in order to maximize Damage output with Sicarus Prime, one will need to get lucky and get some nice stats. My Ideal Stats would be:

• Ideal Stats - The Ideal Stats would be; Multishot, Fire Rate, Critical Damage, and Negative Zoom.
