Innodem

Innodem - Kurel's Swifthand Stabber

by last updated 2 years ago

1440

In the early Orokin Empire, elites wore Innodem as a symbolic reminder to defend the defenseless. The tradition fell out of style, but nostalgic elites acknowledged the sentiment in the form of a gift. The Void amplifies that ideal. Void energy strengthens Innodem gliding aerial attacks and the wielder is increasingly resilient as they perform finisher attacks in Incarnon Form.

Innodem - Kurel's Swifthand Stabber

Kurel's "Swifthand Stabber"

The wardens made a mistake, putting me in here. There's a fox locked up in the henhouse with all these chickens...

4 forma (3V 1-).

The basic idea:

  • Ev4 + Covert Lethality + Corrupt Charge = perma 3x combo + perma-Incarnon.
  • Perma-Incarnon = more range.
  • Dagger = high [Follow Through] + forced slash proc on heavy + enemies open to finisher on heavy + good finisher damage mod.
  • High range + high [Follow Through] + forced slash proc on heavy + perma 3x combo = good trash clear.
  • Enemies open to finisher + Ev2 + Ev3 + good finisher damage mod = good burst DPS for tough enemies.
  • On-demand finishers + Ev5 = lower risk to player.

Therefore, chosen mods focus on boosting heavy attack damage and finisher performance. Of note here is the use of Dispatch Overdrive -- it's there to let you move between enemy groups more quickly after tagging them all with slash procs.

Evolutions

  1. Bladed Harmony (+25% attack speed) -- Combines with +40% attack speed from Incarnon form for max speed finisher.
  2. Blade Twister (+60% finisher dmg) -- Boosts burst DPS on tough enemies.
  3. Incarnon Imago (Incarnon form at 3x combo) -- enables perma-Incarnon.
  4. Stunning Brutality (On finisher: stun aware enemies within 10m) -- provides additional safety between finishers.

Variants

PSmite: Replaces Dispatch Overdrive. Switch 1- to 1V. Higher damage output at the cost of the movement buff.

Lasting Sting: Replaces Dispatch Overdrive. Switch 1- to 1V. Basically a poor man's PSmite variant, for people who haven't gotten it yet.

PFS: Replaces Dispatch Overdrive. Better performance against Corpus.

Life Strike: Replaces Dispatch Overdrive. Switch 1- to 1D. Self-healing option, if you really have no other options. Given Innodem is post-TNW locked, this situation is unlikely, but I'm throwing it out there just in case some weirdo somehow doesn't have Magus Elevate/Nourish/Repair, Hunter Recovery/Synth Deconstruct+Fiber/[Medi-Ray], or the ability to bake pizzas.

How to play this build

  1. Activate Incarnon form. When it drops, just reactivate it; you will always have the combo for it.
  2. Spam heavy attack for trash clear, via forced slash procs. Make sure to aim the second hit so it hits heavy units.
  3. Heavy unit not dying fast enough? Prime, move up, and stab them in the face with a finisher.
  4. Heavy unit still too stubborn to die? Hit them with a heavy attack to open them up to finisher again, then repeat step 3 until enemy killed to death.

This build synergizes particularly well with [Fatal Teleport] [Ash], [Savage Silence] [Banshee], Naramon focus, and [Dizzying Rounds] [Bronco] (Prime). Other builds that enable finishers should also work decently well.
