Some mods don't work on this weapon as it still has to obey the Hound AI attack animations.

[Condition Overload] is going to be boosted by the status effects you and your allies put on the enemy.
The Hound attacks are too slow to reliably proc status effects on their own. Diversified Denial can slightly alleviate this issue.
Use a hybrid Element/Status mod rather than the Uncommon Element mod in that scenario.
The difference in damage is minuscule but it's still better on paper with more Hounds.

Elements are chosen to adequately deal with most factions. Change to appropriate counter-elements if necessary.
