Praedos - Utility

by last updated 10 months ago

Orokin elites admired farmers in conquered regions, because they had learned to fight with modified farming tools despite being forbidden to own weapons. For their voyage, the Zariman were presented with Praedos in recognition of Zariman tenacity. The Void reinforces the strength of the spirited individual by fortifying the Praedos.

Praedos - Utility

Why Use This Build?

  • Sovereign Outcast is a great stance
  • Great utility for any mission
  • Able to easily kill Acolytes, Void Angels, Nox, Sentients, Nullifier bubbles, Juggernauts (without vulnerability phase), etc.

How to Use This Build

  • Heavy Attack when at or above 5x Combo Multiplier to activate Incarnon mode for 90 seconds. Repeat this to refresh the timer. Inarcon mode adds 2 meters of range (4.5m total) and +40% Attack Speed
  • Heavy Attacking is not necessary due to the high Slash weight and forced Slash procs but can be used effectively due to the very quick combo gain.
  • The Evolution choices are 2, 1, 2, and 3 in that order. With these choices you get +20% attack speed, +30% Parkour Velocity, and faster combo gain with Slams and ammo pickups.

Mods

  • Sovereign Outcast - One of the best stances in the game.
  • Primed Reach - Range
  • Primed Fury - Attack Speed. I wanted to include this for use with Ash's Blade Storm.
  • Condition Overload - Damage
  • Organ Shatter - Critical Damage. The Amalgam can be used instead.
  • Blood Rush - Critical Chance
  • Gladiator Might - More Critical Chance and Critical Damage
  • Weeping Wounds - Status Chance allows more Slash procs
  • Shattering Impact - This build already has enough damage. This provides utility for stripping armor from Void Angles, Bosses, Acolytes, and Demolysts. A Smite mod or [Sacrificial Steel] would be a better choice if you just want more damage but it would be better to use [Kronen Prime] or a different melee in that case. Drifting Contact can be used if you have no other form of Combo Duration.

Rivens

  • Ideal Positive Modifiers: Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Range, Combo Duration
  • Decent Positive Modifiers: Slash, Attack Speed
  • Bad Positive Modifiers: Any Element
  • Ideal Negative Modifiers: Impact, Puncture, Critical Chance for Slide Attack, Damage to Infested, Finisher Damage
  • Mods to Replace: Primed Fury, Shattering Impact/Drifting Contact, Organ Shatter

Appendix

  • [Shattering Impact] reduces base armor. This means that it takes the same number of hits to remove armor completely, independent of enemy level. This is very effective due to the very fast attack speed. This allows you to quickly overpower even Steel Path Nox which take reduced Bleed damage.
  • I personally use this with Ash. I also use Primary and Secondary Dexterity so Combo Duration isn't needed. This allows me to run Shattering Impact for the utility.
  • The +Attack Speed from Incarnon mode and Evolutions do not impact Blade Storm like [Primed Fury] does.
