Infiltrate undetected; reduced visibility when held. Then strike with confidence; hits to irradiated targets restores shields and creates overshields.

FOLLOW UP of the dark dagger build i use for my STEEL PATH trinity build.
This is a non Riven build in which you can replace either Vice- [Reach] or [Pressure Point] with Primed Smite mod when against factions for endless but personally, Rakta does need a riven to be competitive in endless.
Oneshotting enemies when shredded by [Trinity] link or when trying to get overshields up when combo is down you need Attack speed and a good base melee damage. Ramping up damage is good but slotting in berserker and waiting for it to ramp up while weep/blood rush/co are down, is gonna be tough if you revived and lack combo multiplier so we opt for higher base damages and solid attack speed.
When it comes to rivens your best bet would be : range-att spd, crit dmg-range, crit dmg-att speed. or a combination of those.
What you DONT want is elements that'll throw off the radiation proc along with the slash priority. Stock elements are fine for overshields and [Pointed Wind] has forced bleed procs along with the stock slash percentage of damage it does. You abuse it for the overshields and big base damage which will still oneshot armor stripped opponents.
And because of [Trinity] link there's no need for [Argonak] , it still oneshots everything but the difference is that you actually have a primary and a secondary that can also oneshot.
Typically with this build you either use an [Ignis] or an [Epitaph] to prime targets that might not be stripped while using the dagger. damage is still huge so anything dies anyway while you get your overshields. Check my [Trinity] build if you're interested in an immortal [Trinity] steel path build.
REPEAT: This isnt the highest damage output rakta build, hence no [Primed Fever Strike] or elementals because they'll mess with the proc priority and we need the radiation damage to overshield.
I advice to roll a riven for it for quality of life which greatly helps but its not necessary. This isnt close to being highest dmg melee but it has a specific purpose and its the reason that THIS WEAPON+ my trin build is immortal. Thank you <3
