We don't use 60/60 mods here because nothing can survive the [Arquebex] shooting it. If DE ever makes an enemy that requires status effects to die or can survive the Arquebex for more than a millisecond, the 60/60 mods might end up being worth it.
The Arquebex cannot aim/zoom. As a result, [Critical Focus], [Marked Target], and [Resolute Focus] are worthless. If this ever changes, they are all still not worth slotting. Resolute Focus provides no conceivable benefit, as VoidRig is immune to stagger and knockdown already and -50% spread does nothing for the Arquebex. Critical Focus would be a good replacement for Automatic Trigger if Arquebex could aim/zoom. Marked Target is bad for the same reasons as the 60/60 mods explained above.
Why don't you use [Sabot Rounds]? AOE weapons usually don't AOE until they run out of Punch Through. When you use [Arquebex], you want the AOE where you shoot and you want it ASAP. Punch Through doesn't help you do damage. The +60 damage is so minimal it doesn't even need to be explained.
The Arquebex doesn't have a magazine, reload, or charge up/spool up time. As such, [Quick Reload], [Deadly Efficiency], Magazine Extension, Ammo Chain, and Shell Rush are all worthless. Marked Target provides less benefit than using two 60/60 mods would so it should never be used. Deadly Efficiency adds base damage and does less than [Primed Rubedo-Lined Barrel] so it is garbage as well.
[Archgun Ace] isn't worth a mod slot because A) there is no reload for [Arquebex] and B) the chances of getting a headshot kill (or even caring to aim for one) are so low, the benefit is nonexistent. Also, [Automatic Trigger] provides more fire rate with no condition.
[Zodiac Shred], [Quasar Drill], and [Comet Blast] are worthless. Here's why: they only buff the base damage of whatever IPS damage they are placed on. They do not increase Status Effect Damage. They do not Increase Total Base Damage. They can only increase the status weighting (how likely a status is to proc over other status procs). As outlined above, this is worthless and provides less benefit than adding another elemental mod. Even a 60/60 mod would be better.
[Ballista Measure]? If you ask why not use this mod, I'm amazed you made it this far in the guide. [Arquebex] does not need more range. Beside the fact that this mod is a joke in the best of circumstances, it is also super rare.
