Why Use This Build?

• [Lavos] is very tanky with this build and can cast Railjack Abilities on cooldown instead of spending Energy. This build is also great for all lich hunting due to the number of status effects which combos well with Cedo.

How to Use This Build

• You often don't need to use any abilities if you just want to tank. Spamming abilities is also very effective.

Abilities

• Passive - Energy and Universal Orbs give status immunity for 10 seconds.
• All abilities apply Status to enemies and can be used to combine elements. I often don't find a need for combining elements.
• Ophidian Bite - Cast to heal Lavos.
• Vial Rush - Cast to move quickly through the air or across the ground. Move left (A) or right (D) to steer and Jump to cancel.
• Transmutation Probe - Cast on enemies to reduce cooldowns.
• Roar - Cast to knock enemies down and give a damage boost to allies and self. [Piercing Roar] allows recasting and applies Puncture Status. This can be put on slot 3 instead of 4 if desired but [Lavos]'s 4 has a relatively long cooldown and lacks the utility of his other abilities even though it can deal a lot of damage.

Mods

• Growing Power - Nearly always active and gives a nice boost to damage.
• Primed Sure Footed - Nice to have
• Umbral Vitality - More EHP
• Umbral Fiber - More EHP
• Umbral Instensify - Strength for Roar
• Archon Continuity - Duration for Vial [Rush] and Roar. This also lets you imbue Viral and cast Ophidian Bite to give targets hit Viral, Toxin, and Corrosive Statuses.
• Adaptation - More EHP
• Overextended - Range for all abilities
• Piercing Roar - Recastable Roar to apply Status (Puncture and Knock Down)
• Blind Rage - The negative Ability Efficiency here doesn't matter much. It only makes the Transmutation Probe slightly less effective but all the abilities have relatively short cooldowns anyway.

Arcanes

• Arcane Grace - Nice to have; others can be used
• Arcane Guardian - Nice to have; others can be used
• Magus Elevate - Healing
• Magus Lockdown - Good survivability and can hold targets in place

Archon Shards

• I recommend using 1 Casting Speed and 4 Strength Shards.

Focus School

• I normally use Naramon for use with Nikana Prime for killing Lich Hounds quickly.

Weapons

• I use Cedo, Epitaph, and Nikana Prime.

Companions

• I use Panzer Vulpaphyla for utility and death saves.

Appendix

• I keep [Lavos]'s abilities on Standard Casting instead of Inverted because I don't combine elements very often.
