Bo Prime : the "Debatable Build"

sooo... since the rework of MOST melee weapon, it's became quite difficult to "build" melee weapon... but this one... the [Bo Prime], was a pain to do make him "viable"... even if he will be forever a unused weapon (for most player)... I have try soo much time in the simulacrum just to see : wich best combination of mod COULD work on it?

first of all : forget about the stance "Flailing Branch"

why, you will say?

Radom newbie in modding : "but he's more rare than the previous st-"

... just SHUT THE F***-UP!!!

This Stance is SLOW to use... and even if he become VIABLE to do some "powerful finisher"...
IT STILL SLOW, even with [Berserker Fury]! just, how to explain the feeling of slowness... play or see the stance move by yourself... you will understand what I mean... but aslo... HIS FIRST COMBO (Rising Falls) HAS ONLY TWO HIT COMBO?! WTF DEV?!? two "combo" hit... yes, he count twice for the melee counter combo... but... "sight"... it's still too slow...

his second one is... debatable, a four "hit" (1-1-2) combo (Battered Thread)... much larger and faster than his previous combo... but REALLY not precise... the fact that you NEED to MOVING forward to make this combo make him harder to land... much harder with [Berserker Fury]... you moving to fast, you striking to fast, you missing too fast!

and his "last one" set of combo (Autumn Leaf) is... not viable at all... it's like jumping like a blind bunny, and praying some luck to hit the ennemy with it... yes, he has a "larger" radius... but the FIRST move of the combo will-make-you-miss ALL THE TIME!!! and it's even worse with [Berserker Fury], since you jump TWICE as FAST an TWICE FAR... so, you CAN'T PREDICT WHERE THE FRICK YOU GOING!!!...

... well, since my [Rage] goes down... now, I can explain WHY the other stance, alias "[Clashing Forest]" is "better"

well... ITS FAST, HE'S FRICKING FAST for a Stave stance!

his Initial combo (Resolute Flurry) is the faster of ALL combo , the first segment of the combo is a FIVE HIT!!! FIVE HIT IN LESS THAN ONE F***ING SECOND!!! and the hitbox... my godness... HE'S ABSOLUTE "LAAARGE"!!! you can hit SO MUCH ENNEMY NEARBY they will be hit ANYWAYS!!!
OF COURSE, the downside of this segment make ennemy flying like plastic-bag in the wind... making harder to follow-up...
... wait, this is a downside? OF COURSE NOT!!! the FACT that the ennemy is flying make them UNABLE to attack...

yes

it's basicly the same as the previous stance... BUT HOLY SH*T!!! they have, not only, wait to stop flying before attacking, BUT TO GET-UP ALSO BEFORE ATTACKING!!!, wich make this stance the best "intteruptor" of the game! (I think, but wtv)... and on top of that : the faster you strike, THE LESS PROBABILITY THEY WILL FLY!!!

to prove that, with a bit of test with Harrow (with the no use of the first ability of course, but only the second that boost "firerate and melee-speed and reloading-speed), and... no one flying!!! ITS A MIRACLE!!! (not really)...

... In fact how to explain this?

... well... in warframe, for the melee or any weapon, the more speed/firerate you have, the more frame you "skip" or the less "delay" you shoot/strike (frame per second) and then, strike/shoot faster, for the stance (in melee weapon), there a point you are soo fast that you totally "skip" the "strike" frame that make the ennemy flying around everywhere, making this stance very powerful to rapid and repeatitively with the neutral combo, but lose his incapacitance... it's up to you to decide...

Speaking of the second and third combo, they're not really great... the second combo patern (Shyward Limb) is a circular combo of four total strike combo (1-1-2) with large hitbox for hitting a great number of ennemy, and suffer from the same default has the previous one (Battered Thread), movin while striking is not precise at all, and the third one? (Battering Roots), he's very not... viable, it's like the other one (Autumn Leaf) but slower and only two hit, the first segment is only used to close the gap between the distance the ennemy is... and the second segment make them to go ragdoll... wich is very annoying... yes, it's like the first combo but, c'mon! it's not very usable btw...

phew... I finish with this... now it's modding time!

first of all, get rid of Weeping Wounds, it won't help you there

yes.... BUT NO!!!

the problem with this weapon is... he proc Impact damage every hit... "most" of his hit...

... wich stumble the ennemy, and augment his "Mercy" gauge... but, in general, Impact damage is the WORST damage type in warframe...

they are ONLY effective against... Shield... such as Corpus or Eximus and specific ennemy... wich is a shame...

so, doing 210% of Impact damage proc is... ewh... useless...

AND DON'T EVEN THINK to remplace another mod with it! you will lower significantly the DPS...

to compenssate the lack of power (and keep also a high status proc), we use 60/60% elemental mod, such as "[Virulent Scourge]", "Voiltaic Strike", "[Vicious Frost]" and "[Volcanic Edge]", to outstanding the "Impact" damage to be lower than the "Elemental" damage, permitting to proc more of the element than the type damage... my example is for "Corrosive", effective against most Corrupted and Grinner

the most important also is "[Condition Overload]" that had a +80% damage against each type of statues (actually, three status that can proc : Impact, Puncture and Corrosive = 3x80% = 240% of bonus damage "possible"), and don't forget the combo multiplier with "Blood Rush", that augment crit-chance by 40% by every combo multiplier... and to amplificate this effect, "Gladiator Might" is a good mod aslo, each set of this mod increasing passively by 10% the crit-chance for every combo multiplier (or more, that depent of wich set you have in you weapon/warframe)

Add a spoonful of attack speed with "[Berserker Fury]", and a high crit chance of base with the mod "Sacrificial Steel", and a Primed meleed damage mod "Primed Pressure Point" and voila! : a corrosive rammer! wich is fast, rapid to build-up combo, and strangely effective...

welp... that all... sorry for swearing for the beginning but... I see people doing the same mistake

yes, "Weeping Wound" is good... for "Slash-Viral" weapon or fast proc weapon, but "[Condition Overload]" must be the one in this build, for evident reason...

whatever, hope it's help (I don't think soo, but hey, whynot giving it a shot, sometime?)
