The corrosive is for the high bonus of damage on greener, event without proc :
75% bonus damage on ferrit armor and bypass 75% of it, so the corrosive damage do more than 6 time the damage on ennemie with high ferrit armor.

and most greener have ferrite armor.

Use the Arcane Strike will make this build mush better, it is like add a 9th mode, and will multiply the damage by 1.6 .

To keep the combo, you need the focus Naramon.
(You can also use the aura [Swift Momentum], or remove remove [Gladiator Might] to use [Drifting Contact])

If you have a riven, the place for it is instead [Gladiator Might].
(Remove [Primed Reach] is not an option.
Hit more target increase mush more the speed to kill than the bonus of crit from [Gladiator Might].
And a riven with more range in addition to [Primed Reach] is something very good.)
