The combination of Viral and Heat, though not as good without much Slash is still very effective, and with this build, it's easy to switch out the Viral for Magnetic (or Corrosive, for vs Cambion Drift) and the Heat for Toxin to go against the Corpus. As always, [Hornet Strike] can be traded out for a Primed faction damage mod, if you want to bother with that.

[Lethal Torrent] isn't such a great idea here, because you'll be wanting to aim for headshots whenever you can, and the fire rate is already plenty fast enough for that. If you try to fire faster than 2.5 shots per second, your aim will suffer.
