If your using this weapon it’s for one of two reasons: scanning or aesthetic. This weapon will not top the damage charts, but it can still get you through the normal star chart. This build is focused on this: able to kill the toughest normal enemy with a heavy attack.
Each attack dead just under 254,000 damage per heavy attack, this build will clear out normal enemies. Heavy enemies can survive if their surrounded due to the [Follow Through] mechanic, but most of the time they should still die. Additionally, you have 120% wind up speed and 55% attack speed, meaning these attacks do come out at a decent-ish rate. Combined with a 5.5m range, it’s a pretty potent build.
Probably the best use of this is farming Feral Kavat genetic code for Khora and the Kavat incubator segment. They only appear on non-open world missions and can be surrounded by regular enemies. This lets you just carelessly swing to kill then. (*Note: do not use in squads, let everyone scan them normally first. Also avoid having a companion equipped, they can kill the cats super easy)
There’s no getting around that this build costs 5 forma for a very niche weapon. But, if you like the look, run something besides [Helios] and want to complete the codex, this isn’t the worst option.
