Infiltrate undetected; reduced visibility when held. Then strike with confidence; hits to irradiated targets restores shields and creates overshields.

Steel Path Epipen

The ultimate Epipen, the swiss army knife, this build has it all: shields, overshields, healing, stealth, energy, and the occasional 1,000 damage viral explosion. Not satisfied? It can be modified for about armor [Shred], good damage types, flexibility, the list goes on and on...

This build reaches peak efficiency with Smite Infusion and Amalgom Argonak Metal Augur, the former grants a more balanced proc spread for better shield/overshield generation and the latter grants armor [Shred], something essential for SP and long endless runs. If [Smite Infusion] just isn't in the cards or you want some extra health insurance, bring a Sentinel and give it a Prisma Burst Laser filled with Fire Rate and Status Chance mods, as well as Radiation only damage. Smite itself is subsumable, so if desired could be combined with another infusion like Fireball Frenzy or Shock Trooper, but only those two will be useful on the RDD because their procs cause damage, unlike Corrosive or Cold procs.

BREAKING IT DOWN

Shields/Overshields: The [Rakta Dark Dagger] (RDD) has the innate ability to give the warframe shields when damaging a target that has at least one radiation proc. 5% of every damage from the dagger is transferred to the warframe directly as shields until the shields are full, where it will start filling overshields. Like other boons in this build, the DoT procs will generate shields/overshields just as much as a dagger slash would, allowing a cut and run if you really wanted.

Healing: Very straight-forward, [Healing Return] grants healing when the dagger deals damage. It works only with the direct hits on the enemy, NOT DoT, but the ridiculous amount of status and attack speed from the RDD make up for that.

Stealth: The RDD has a secondary innate effect where any time it is drawn out it provides a buff called Mind Haze, which reduces the distance a warframe will be spotted by 33%. The RDD does not have to stay out for this effect, and it must be refreshed if the dagger is kept out, but this can be done by quickly aiming and slashing, effectively pulling out a gun and then the dagger again.

Energy/Explosion: The [Gleaming Blight] mod is wonderful, providing a massive 100% SC boost, as well as Blight. Blight gives the RDD a charge effect which builds up with affinity, at its peak granting the frame 25% base max energy, dealing 1,000 viral damage to all enemies within 25m and a 10% movement speed buff for 30s.

FLEXIBILITY

General Specialization: [Virulent Scourge] is nice but not entirely necessary to the build, providing just a small amount of damage and Status Chance. For specialization it could be swapped for any applicable Primed bane mod. For general preference, it could be switched with Quickening for extra attack speed, Spring-Loaded Blade for extra range, Lasting Sting for longer procs, or even a riven with whatever effects would best augment the build to your liking.

[Fury]: [Berserker Fury] can be swapped for Primed Fury if you don't like the extra speed being conditional on killing and don't mind a lower max.

Healing: If [Healing Return] is just too slow, [Life Strike] will heal 20% per heavy attack (again not including the DoT from procs) which is likely not going to do much better, given the low base damage from the dagger, but it's another option.

CROSS-BUILD POWER

Sure, the RDD is good on its own, but the power can be amplified even more by revolving every other spot in your loadout to make it even better.

Warframe: Either [Ember] or [Volt Prime] with Smite subsumed, with a high amount of ability strength as well as the Smite Infusion and Fireball Frenzy/Shock Trooper augments. Casting both buffs gives the RDD an even spread between 1/3 Radiation and 2/3 DoT procs, setting up for the easiest home run of a shield generator the universe has ever known. Both [Ember] and [Volt] have their own Pros and Cons for this build so it's more up to preference for which is better, which I won't dive into at all. Play whichever is more fun.

Primary: [Argonak] because of Amalgam Argonak Metal Augur, immediately swap to your pistol as soon as the mission starts it's not going to actually be doing anything it just enables you to [Shred] armor. With this amalgam mod in your loadout the RDD will [Shred] 6 armor every time they deal damage, including from DoT procs, effectively removing armor from the beefiest most armored lads in mere seconds, if they live that long.

Secondary: [Kompressa], give it as much status chance and multishot as possible and even the spread as best you can between magnetic and viral. Primed Fulminationapplies to this weapon and I'd recommend it as well. With a decent amount of magnetic and viral procs on enemies, you'll [Shred] them even quicker regardless of the presence of shields or lack thereof.

Parazon: Blood for Energy, Hard Reset, and whatever third you like. [Blood For Energy] is good for even more energy generation, while [Hard Reset] will revive your companion in the unfortunate event of its death, which might become necessary to save your life.

Companion: Any sentinel will work, technically [Dethcube Prime] is best though. A sentinel is best for the weapon options, slotting Synth Deconstruct which grants a nice effect with a good set bonus, and slotting Sacrifice for the ultimate life insurance. [Dethcube] specifically allows for Energy Generator to be slotted for extra energy generation. Just keep in mind the order the mods are equipped in so the companion performs the actions with the correct priority.

Companion Weapon: [Prisma Burst Laser], everyone's favorite meme that gives the sentinel the ability to constantly annoy enemies around it with a million bullets per second. It will benefit from the infusion buffs, so focus on fire rate, multishot, and status chance, as well as your proc of choice to give it a final spread of about 1/4 IPS, 1/4 Chosen Element, 1/4 Radiation, and 1/4 Heat or Electric, depending on your chosen secondary infusion. Corrosive is my favorite just for quick and effective armor shred as well as extra benefit for Condition Overload and Healing Return.

WRAP-UP

I have nothing more to say, this build is insane and with a squad member helping you out you too can easily achieve your dream of applying 4 of every status proc to a single acolyte and laughing at the number of icons on his health bar. Go nuts.
