Dex Dakra Corpus Deletus (No Formas)

My current [Dex Dakra] build for slaughtering Corpus. This is intended as the melee compliment to my Dex Sybaris Corpus Shredder build, although this build appears to have much less long-run potential than the Dex Sybaris build. However, it is definitely viable, at the very least as a low-level weapon to get you through some of the early- to mid-game content (It will definitely do one-shots against most Corpus enemies, even MOAs, who have resistance to Toxin damage). As with the [Sybaris] build, the mods are relatively easy to obtain (except for maybe Quickening and Swirling Tiger)

Following are brief explanations for why I chose each mod:

  • Schocking Touch, combined with [North Wind], provides Magnetic damage that has a 75% damage boost to Corpus shields (total Magnetic damage to Corpus Shields is 982.8).

  • [Quickening] and Fury provide a net increase of 70% to the melee attack speed, allowing for an expedited death of your target.

  • [Reach] adds over 1 extra meter to your range, allowing you to hit multiple enemies with a single hit IF they are close enough to you AND close enough together.

  • [Melee Prowess] Increases your likelihood of a Status Effect (Proc for short). All of your hits will deal the full elemental damage (more if the target is weak to it, and less if the target is resistant to it), but this makes it more likely for your weapon to start a damage over time effect (with the Slash and Toxin damage types), reducing enemy damage by up to 75% (with the Puncture damage type), stagger enemies (with the Impact damage type), or increase damage to targets' shields by up to 325% (with the Magnetic damage type).

  • Pressure Point simply increases the damage of all types (including elemental damages) by 120%.

  • [Fever Strike] provides Toxin damage that allows you to bypass the Corpus shields, and deals 50% extra damage to Corpus flesh (essentially Corpus Crewmen and similar enemies. The total Toxin damage to these enemies is 421.2 directly to their health). Robotic enemies (MOAs, Ospreys, etc.) have 25% Toxin damage resistance, but it will still bypass their shields (total Toxin damage is 210.6 directly to their health. Damage to Oxium Ospreys and other armored robotic targets would be lower).

  • Finally, the [Swirling Tiger] stance emphasizes quick attacks. This, in combination with the extra 70% attack speed, allows you to hit multiple times with a single attack, amplifying the damage output of the weapon. It also provides more mod capacity to avoid the use of Formas.

I did not focus on critical for this build because the critical chance of the Dex Dakra is low, and it would take an unreasonable number of hard-to-get mods to satisfactorily improve the critical chance.

As with the [Dex Sybaris], placement of [North Wind] and [Shocking Touch] is important!

Please note that the damage stats reflected here will be slightly off compared to the actual damage stats in Warframe itself.
