AS MUCH OF A MEME AS THIS BUILD IS, there is a method to my madness with the core idea behind it and Parasitic Armor. Well, there was until [Citrine] ruined it. Now it's just a meme.

BASICS

Parasitic Armor is a Helminth ability unlocked at Metamorphosis Tier 11. Parasitic Armor drains your shields in their entirety and grants a time of increased additive armor based on the MAX shields of your Warframe as well as Ability Strength. This may seem very detrimental since it seemingly blocks use of shield-gating, which is your main form of survival in higher-level missions. But are they really gone?

Yes, yes they are. As of Citrine's Last Wish, the interaction between Brief Respite/Augur set and Parasitic Armor has been patched. This tactic is now no longer viable.

MOTIVATION BEHIND THE BUILD

Blame Helminth for the entire thing. I had received an invigoration for [Mag] that was +ability duration and +health. This made me tote on the idea of bullying [Inaros]' inability to stay alive despite being a walking health bar, so I added insult to injury and threw on Parasitic Armor. To my surprise, I found out that Parasitic Armor does not prevent the acquisition of overshields, and so I did testing to determine shield-gating duration which was roughly 1.3 seconds each time, the duration given when shields are reduced from full. However, this has now been patched. Good to know Parasitic Armor no longer has a use outside of [Rhino] anymore. Thanks, DE.
