INTRO
Mostly just writing this down so I don't forget it. Feel free to test it yourself and tell me how it is!
For the record, I'm a semi-noob: 1883 hours in game as of writing this (mostly just goofing around), and this is my first serious build. Be nice, but feel free to use constructive criticism! Thank you!
USE
Simple to use: Run in. Coat enemies with bubbles. Bubbles explode. Enemies die. Repeat if necessary. Move on to next group. No gimmick.
REASONING
- Lethal Momentum: Reducing travel time for shots generally increases accuracy.
- Sure Shot: Higher status chance means more damage. Self Explanatory.
- Galvanized Diffusion: More bubbles + more explosions = more status procs + more damage output.
- Lethal Torrent: Same as Galvanized Diffusion, with the added bonus of shooting faster.
- [Pistol Pestilence] and [Jolt]: Corrosive status to strip enemy armor, and status chance to increase the chance of doing so. Added bonus of increased damage output.
- Primed Expel Grineer: Extra damage. Make sure to replace 'Grineer' with whatever you'll be fighting.
- Primed Heated Charge: I used this over Scorch for the added damage, as at 93% Status/Projectile, you're effectively guaranteed to apply several status effects with every pull of the trigger.
- Secondary Merciless: You'll most likely be killing groups with this build, so it's a straight damage increase.
POTENTIAL ALTERNATIVES
All alternatives are at the cost of effectiveness.
- Galvanized Diffusion can be replaced with Barrel Diffusion
- Primed mods can be replaced their non-primed counterparts
- Expel mod can be replaced with [Augur Pact] to save a forma, or with [Scorch] to save a forma and increase status chance to guarantee every bubble and explosion applies a status effect.
SUMMARY
The main purpose of this build is to apply status effects to weaken enemies so the explosions can finish the job.
