This is a 5 forma build, not 6. I think Overframe was missing the natural V that came with him. Pretty sure I remember a pizza and a V in there at start, anyway.
This is the build I've been playing with. Just finished with all the forma, and I put in the latest Teshin Umbral Forma.
His 2 and 3 are the better powers. 1 sucks, and 4 is fairly useless at 'normal' player levels. Can only kill things at low levels that no one with this much forma in their builds plays at unless they're cracking Lith relics or something. (In which case, your 2 will nuke everyone around you, bwahaha)
- I replaced his 1 with Gloom. He needed a way to heal himself, and it's waaaay better than the wimpy healing of his 1. The 1's also useless anyway. It's like Dance Macabre, but you're not invincible during it like Revenant with Mesmer armor, and the damaging aspect is redundant considering his 2 exists.
- For a while, I was running with [Augur Message] where [Stretch] is, because I wanted Gloom to be more efficient and to make the minions of his 3 to last as long as possible, but having more range for his 2 is waaay better. The increase in gloom cost and reduction of minion duration is minimal anyway.
- Had to take [Rage] down 1 point to make it fit, which is fine. He doesn't lose shields often anyway, especially if you keep minions around who recharge them, but that's the best point to shave imo. You could alternatively put in a 10-point Adaptation, but the way I see it, adaptation is his specialty, so you should max it out and make it the best it can be.
- The minions suck at combat. They're best as additional targets to draw aggro, and of course, they give you overshields. Think of them more as defensive tools.
- His 4 can potentially reduce armor of really tough targets, but it's expensive and hard to use for that. Hit it for style every once in a while if you wish lol.
How to make this even stronger?
I intend to put another Umbral forma into him when I have one, which will open up another 8 points. This'll let me put in [Hunter Adrenaline], and leaves me the option of decreasing his STR a little in favor of Primed Surefooted if I want to try that, without forma'ing the spot and screwing up the option for [Power Drift].
I play [Caliban] as a melee fighter, Naramon, with Gloom active when I can cast it, stomping whenever I see a tight group of enemies, and summoning minions (1-3 depending on current energy) whenever I see that they're gone.
And remember, kids: Say NO to Corrupted Mods. They're not as cool as you think they are.
