First build ever posted on here, and one that I'm proud of.

[Boltor Prime] is one of the older weapons, mainly used during my time in the game. Back then, it was known as one of the best guns in the game. Nowadays, you rarely see it used by people. It's considered one of the weaker weapons by the community now, but I still think it can be strong, and I can prove that through this build.

The biggest weakpoint of the [Boltor Prime] is the low projectile velocity of 100 metres per second. This build aims to improve that, while making it extremely strong with the reworked status chance by using Viral and Heat. With the added 79% projectile speed boost from both the exilus and the riven, this turns the [Boltor] into a hitscan weapon at ranges up to 15 metres. The weapon's best range for the most damage is up to 30 metres before the damage falls off and you'll require a full magazine to kill a Corrupted Bombard. And with the extra boost of fire rate and ammo, it'll help out massively with overall burst DPS and sustained DPS, despite ruining the ammo economy a bit with the massive boost of fire rate.

Now, you may have 3 questions:

• Why so many forma?
  This build, because of the riven and [Primed Cryo Rounds], we need to basically forma everything on the weapon. It may be a heavy investment, but it is definitely worth it once you give it a try.

• Why did you use [Stabilizer], and not [Vigilante Supplies]?
  Pure and simple. [Vigilante Supplies] only offers a minor boost of 1k damage. 1k damage isn't much, and you really want to boost the speed of the projectiles, reduce the recoil, and increase its status effects to make this weapon somewhat easier to use at range. Also, the added ammo mutation isn't really worth it, as the Boltor already has very good ammo economy.

• Why did you pick this specific riven?
  It fit what I wanted to make the [Boltor Prime] into. A "Viral Impaler" (a reference to a build I was following earlier on this site) that can kill fast, BUT with much faster bolts, thus extending the effective range and making it easier to hit those all important headshots. The critical chance bonus kinda ruined the original build I was doing, but I think it really helped bring out this gun, and make it much more effective.

I hope you guys enjoyed this build. This weapon's a lot of fun to use, and if you have really good aim and are able to hit consistent headshots, this weapon will really give you an advantage on the battlefield.
